PR The PR (Personal Record) thread, v.5

Yeah, it works really nice. It hasn't negatively affected me either when I'm forced to bench without it (at two different meets).

Perfect, as that'd be the only issue to worry about.

Although this may not be applicable. Under armour makes shirts with grippy surfaces to keep football pads from sliding around on you. Not sure if this would work the same way for benching.

Okay. Long story short, I didn't know what weight was on the bar, and apparently I set a new squat PR today at 355lbs/161kg.

316 Paused Back Squat

As you can see from the video form wasn't the best but still really happy to be back to 2x bodyweight paused.

275lb. front squat. A PR because I never have gone heavier than 185lbs. before. Fronts were always just for conditioning when I did that der CF.

Deadlifted 405 for 5 a while ago. Will hopefully be hitting a new DL PR each week for a bit.

Scratch that, now it's a 70kg military press PR. So, that's cool, I guess.

You're hitting a lot of PR's lately, plz stop.

Yesterday I pulled 200 for 4 reps, not bad considering my 1RM from a few months ago was a shaky 210.

I'll just stop posting them here, asides from the really meaningful ones.

That's some mighty fine pulling, dude.

Snatch Dead 182.

Weak, but I've wanted it for awhile.

Thanks man...I was only joking, I'd be hitting this thread up as well if the PR's were being hit :)

Last squat on the video - 150kgx1. 10kg PR. Been chasing it for two years.

Next stop 180kg...

So, a 165kg squat yesterday. Followed up with front squatting triples at 110kg, which I think was my last recorded FS 1RM.

Very nice grind OT, your gym has the most bizarre plates.

Company called Escape Fitness(why would you want to escape from fitness?) owned by Reebok. It's what their bumpers look like. They've got Eleiko bars so guessing matching plates is asking a lot.
