New 1RM PR in raw deadlift tonight, 495 lb. Pulling with 5 plates on each side felt awesome! Got a thumbs up from some random Chinese guy in the gym.
 
Was going to go for a 215 sohp today but smoked 200 so easily that it went weightless at the top for a millisecond. Said fuck it and threw 225 on. Failed at about my eyeballs. Waited a while and went again. Same thing but tried to grind it out for a while. Nada. Just stayed right in front of my eyeballs. Racked it. Put 215 on and gritted it out from just above my head to lockout. Apparently 5 pounds on ohp is serious business. Still a pr but not my goal weight yet.

Just tried to film 215 and my camera shut off right when I got into position. Piece of shit. I'll try again in a minute. Fucker

Damn guess I only had enough gas for one. Wish it had recorded. Went up so fast I wanted to see if I used my legs in it at least.

Absolutely but my next set was going to be 215 anyway. Staring at the missing 5 pounds on each side made my eyes bigger than my deltoids. It's not in my reach yet. It is close though. I did type 215 I'm the last post didn't i? Fat thumbs on my phone and all. I'm making good progress here at least. 195 was my max and I'm up 10 pounds recorded anyway. I did get 215 today for one but couldn't reproduce it. I'm happy with that. Not going to max again for a couple weeks though.

maybe i need to wear chucks for these too. i'm on my toes and the weight is too far in front of me

not too terrible for a max effort and the bar is right in front of my collarbone (still not flexible enough to do a proper rack but it's a lot closer than it used to be)
