PR The PR (Personal Record) thread, v.5

Your vid is private Bloodhy.

This was a tough one. Had my tongue grinding between my teeth on the way up. I've never had that happen to me before.

415 lbs front squat

Congrats on the PR Oblivian, looks really strong.

Think I fixed the vid now.

Hit 175lb power snatch which is a 10lb pr. at a 129lb bodyweight. Coming for that whiteboard lol.

New PRs in all 4 lifts this week...

SOHP - 195
Deadlift - 485
Bench - 275
Squat - 385

I like how your Deadlift video is categorized as comedy

Thanks, homie.

Well I did two triple PRs before, 365 and 375, so I wasn't really planning on taking 405 after.

Okay that makes more sense: a triple at 380. I was picturing a single at 380.

Your descent is a lot faster compared to your benching at your meet last year. I recall your descent was so slow, it was almost like you were wearing a shirt.

It was. It's still an issue I'm working on constantly. I have no fucking idea why I can't do it faster. It's only the first rep of the set. From then on, it's money. The worst rep of my bench sets is always the first.

My training partner takes a few reps to get going too. Do you think it makes much difference?

Dat bench is pretty badass though. Its amazing how far you've come.

New 8RM at 170kg. We're on the warpath to a 220kg-squat.

Fiiiinally hit just over 95kg(210lb) in the snatch, done at 69kg(152lb). Went a little Jon North and slammed it when I was done.
