The Powerlifting Thread

George was one of the first powerlifters I'd ever seen on YouTube and started my interest in the sport. He looks to be under 300lbs here. He's a real estate millionaire now living in the Phillipines. For a while he was chasing a 1000lbs raw deadlift but I guess thought better of it.

Sweet video....
I didnt check his channel, he's been uploading a lot lately. He dropped 110lbs in 11 months and barely used roids anymore.

Same with Pete Rubish. Got married, might be trying for kids so he got off drugs.

He's not a millionaire. From what I understand he is able to live off passive income from his real estate investments, but he's not rich. Also might be a sociopath.
Ah I thought he said his dad left him a ton of money when he died. Sociopath?

Eh just in a funk mentally
Not trying to Dr. Phil you here, but if you’re in a funk mentally, don’t stop doing what you enjoy. Exercising is good for you. If it’s lifting related, change things up. Don’t do the exercises you don’t want to do and do some new exercises that you might want to try. Nothing says that you have to squat/bench/deadlift all the time. Just find a way to make lifting weights enjoyable.

Got out of bed and worked out. Thanks Jim.
