Actually, I've never invested in bitcoin. Fuck off with your hateful retardation. Seriously it's getting fucking old.Considering your favorite investment is bitcoin this favorite movie of yours makes sense.
I gotta wonder why the film is so polarizing in people's feelings about it.It's my favourite movie of this decade, hands down.
...what? Literally the opposite of that is true. You clearly dont even know what you watched. How is a movie "socialist propaganda" when the great enemy of communism, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn is referenced multiple times throughout the movie and in Son Mi 451s timeline they are living in a dystopic hellhole??I live in a socialist hellhole and recognise socialist propaganda at the first chime of 'The State knows best' and 'Hey, let's regulate everything'. This movie, like the saccharine Avatar, ticks all the boxes.
Don't even get me started on the messy aesthetics and crude theatrics. Just awful.
Again, literally the opposite is true of both the movie and the book. God damn peoples perceptions are so off from reality. In multiple timelines one actor plays both good and evil characters which embodies aleksandr Solzhenitsyns quote "the line between good and evil runs through the hearts of all men". Literally nothing you said in the above quoted is true about the film or the book and I'm not sure how you arrived at such a poor conclusion. After reading the plot of the book from wiki, the only message I got is kill all the bad, greedy people, namely the rich because they most likely got that way by being sleazy, before it is too late, and never be sorry about it.
Funny thing, in real history, there have been times when one group perceived another group as such a bad force they moved to exterminate them, notwithstanding their perceptions being correct or incorrect.
It's something you really have to focus on as your watching it to grasp it. Such a fantastic movie. I own the ultraviolet edition and have regularly watched it over the years. I never grow tired of it as each time I watch it I pick up something new. This is a movie I regret not giving my full undivided attention. .I could tell there was a lot of depth to it, but I wasn't in the right mindset.
I dismissed the film as overly convoluted but didn't hate it.
I posted the video for people to watch it. I already took the time creating this thread because I wanted to share it with people and have a discussion on the themes of cloud atlas. I'm not going to then take additional time to summarize the video that I posted with the intent of people watching it.Fucking lols...
