Seriously, it turns people into shells of their former self.

That's what is so sneaky about it. It starts off with a legal prescription then they'll get cut off, get dope sick, and turns to street drugs. I Especially feel bad for people with chronic pain that get hooked. I know everybody is different, but Ibuprofen has always worked the best for me when I've had severe pain. Opids helped, but they just seemed to get me high more than anything else.
 
Since we're talking opioid addiction mini anecdote. I was in the hospital for a strep B infection.... in my damn scrotum that abscessed to like... baseball size.

They cut me open in the ER, drained it, and I was stuck in the hospital for like 3 nights. I left prescribed with vicodin and while in I had some IV painkillers available to me and some vicodin the last night (available) I only took pain meds once cause I was so damn scared of getting hooked.

The IV was duladid or however you spell it... shit felt amazing the first night when I had some to help sleep (was on like a 4 for painscale but couldn't sleep)... how good I felt scared the shit out of me.
 
No talk about how Mexico’s poppy plant cultivation is bigger than ever and nobody over their is stopping shit.

The demand for heroin is so big in the USA they will get the drugs here no matter what.

Until production in Mexico, Columbia , Peru , Venezuela is slowed down then expect things to just get gradually worse not better.

Oh fuuuuuck that. That's horror. IV meds really are fantastic though. I got morphine for my kidney stone and it was amazing. Had the same experience with pills afterward, didn't want to use them too long. They only prescribed me a small handful though. Some places will give you like 30 for a "week" when you only need them for a day or two.

I got 30 and used like.... 2 pills I think after leaving.

The solution is to cut way back on giving out Narcan like candy. Then it would be a self correcting problem. The addicts have caused a huge issue for people who actually need opioids for legitimate reasons.

Aesop and J Cole don’t make the same genre music. Lil Peep isn’t a good rapper because he’s not rapping. I always wondered why folks called him one.

He’s emo/pop/Bieber on opioids and honest about it in his lyrics. He’s not a good rapper but the sound he did put out in a short amount of time was unique.

I was making a reference to how we handled the crack epidemic...and to some extent still do handle it.

Hopsin was pretty good before actually got popular.

Stop prescribing them.
People do not need synthetic heroin to recover from surgery.
