The new The Invisible Man is the scariest movie I've seen since Event Horizon

Anybody seen this movie? Surprised nobody is talking about it. It's got the most suspenseful scenes I've seen in a while. I'll see anything this director makes now starting with Upgrade next.

Supposedly there is a cut of Event Horizon that exists where the visions of hell with people chained up and getting mangled and stuff run way longer. Like they are actual scenes instead of just flashes of images. I'd love to get my hands on that. They need to remaster a Blu Ray anyways, the current one sucks.

BFD.. We all saw that shit in shock movies like Hostel. And they sucked.

Event Horizon is ok. They play it straight, of which i always say is MANDATORY, in any horror. But it at no point scared me.

The only troubling scene was baby bear getting sucked into space, only because it maybe what really happens.

Honestly it would probably end up cheesy and take away from the impact that the grainy film and the last shot with him holding his eyes would have

No it probably would have been an extended version where you see more death/gore/rape and then culminates in that last shot of the captain holding his eyes:

Known deleted scenes include a meeting scene between Weir and people in charge of the mission in which they discuss Event Horizon, some dialogue of which remained present in the theatrical trailer;[14][15] more backstory for Cooper and Justin, including a stronger explanation for Justin entering the black hole; a deleted backstory of the relationship between Starck and Miller; additional scenes explaining what the gateway to hell/black hole is;[16] Miller finding a tooth floating in Event Horizon;[7] a longer version of the scene in which Peters hallucinates that her son's mangled legs are covered in maggots;[6] a scene in which Weir hallucinates that Justin turns into his wife Claire;[17][18] a bloodier version of Weir's wife Claire's suicide; a longer version of the scene where Miller finds D.J.'s dead body with his guts on the table; and a longer version of the "Visions From Hell" scene during Miller's final fight with Weir with more shots of Event Horizon crew being tortured.[better source needed]

The "bloody orgy" video was also longer. As Anderson was sometimes too busy filming other scenes, second-unit director Vadim Jean filmed some parts of this scene.[7] Real-life amputees were used for special effects scenes in which Event Horizon crew members were mutilated, and pornographic film actors were hired to make the sex and rape scenes more realistic and graphic.[6]

He used real-life amputees and porn actors/actresses... fuckin' awesome!

The Invisible Man had some legit scenes, that's not a lie. It also some sub par parts too, collectively B+

Man, Event Horizon was some nasty shit. Been terrified of the idea of space hell ever since

That blood orgy man. Do you think that's where Hillary and everyone got the idea for those spirit cooking parties?

I saw it. It was excellent. I’m sure someone will, or already has, bitched about it “shoving the SJW agenda down their throats” (you know, like a cock), but that’s because morons can find that shit anywhere they look. Shit, I bet they’d complain that a cross burning was too PC because the tips of the flames were purple. And we all know that purple = gay.

Anyway, the movie was really good.
