Anybody seen this movie? Surprised nobody is talking about it. It's got the most suspenseful scenes I've seen in a while. I'll see anything this director makes now starting with Upgrade next.
Hereditary isn't really scary IMO, but it's one of the impactful and intense movies I've ever seenRubbish movie that lost its way after about 17 minutes imo.
Thought Hereditary was far better / scarier.

BFD.. We all saw that shit in shock movies like Hostel. And they sucked.Supposedly there is a cut of Event Horizon that exists where the visions of hell with people chained up and getting mangled and stuff run way longer. Like they are actual scenes instead of just flashes of images. I'd love to get my hands on that. They need to remaster a Blu Ray anyways, the current one sucks.
Honestly it would probably end up cheesy and take away from the impact that the grainy film and the last shot with him holding his eyes would haveSupposedly there is a cut of Event Horizon that exists where the visions of hell with people chained up and getting mangled and stuff run way longer. When I first watched it, amazed. Watched recently, doesn't hold up.Scariest movie to me was the Decent
The "bloody orgy" video was also longer. As Anderson was sometimes too busy filming other scenes, second-unit director Vadim Jean filmed some parts of this scene.[7] Real-life amputees were used for special effects scenes in which Event Horizon crew members were mutilated, and pornographic film actors were hired to make the sex and rape scenes more realistic and graphic.[6]
