AM: Judo randori. Did 3 rounds of newaza, and then on my second round of tachiwaza I twisted / popped my knee trying to counter a throw. Couldn't extend my leg without considerable pain, so sat out the rest of the session. Similar happened a couple of years ago randomly whilst I was reaching for something in my garden, and fixed itself whilst I was waiting for my x-ray results to come back from the hospital. It's already feeling alot better and I'm able to move it with much less pain, so was able to get a bench press session in this evening:

I've wrecked my left knee twice. Once in a Thai boxing match in Detroit and again in 2016. It still needs surgery but when I'm spending alot of time hiking it feels strong and I don't have problem with it. Nothing else seems to help it. Hope it heals up right for you

Thank you, I think it just twisted a little out of place and then righted itself. I'll head back to judo next week and I'm sure it will be fine.

Lets hope all the trap pulls strengthen them ligaments into cables and it was just a temp discomfort. Ruck walk for an hour sounds fun.
