Metal/Rock/Industrial The metal thread \m/

This is a super cool interview with Jinjer from Audiotree with three live performances. If you don't like Jinjer you should!

Intro
1:01 Vortex - Song
5:02 On Origins & Writing
9:19 Wallflower - Song
13:35 On Art Reflecting Life
18:10 Dead Hands Feel No Pain - Song
22:17 Outro

A couple of big shows recently announced that I'm super pumped about:

Testament, Kreator, Possessed at The Warfield in San Francisco Oct 27

Exodus, Havok, Candy, Dead Heat at UC Theater in Berkeley Dec 6

First time Exodus has headlined a tour in years and first headline show in The Bay Area in even longer, surprisingly enough. I've never seen them as a headline so I'm super pumped, and its a great venue. Will be funny seeing the first 2 bands being full on Karate in the Pit action, straight into Havok with a No Karate policy, LOL! Gonna be Ruthies Inn 2.0

Every band on that show is fucking awesome.
BTW, Candy's new album is among my favs this year

Yeah I need to dig into that album, a buddy of mine was just hyping it up as well to me.

I've been burning the hell out of the newest Sadus album, getting ready to see them next month. This album is fucking sick:

Is Reece Scruggs still playing in Havok? He's been touring with Machine Head for quite awhile now on lead guitar and Vogg officially left the band so I imagine he will join Machine Head full time.

I'm not sure exactly for this tour, but he was with them when I saw them with Toxic Holocaust last year. That show had the craziest crowd of everything I saw last year.

More Old School Death Metal

New Baest!!!

I've been digging into these guys the last few days. FUUUUCK. They check all the boxes. This is the kind of Death Metal I'm into. Melodic, has a lot of groove, dynamic and not just a wall of sound. Impressive stuff, I'm already buying a bunch of their shit on Discogs. Fortunately they have vinyl releases that include the cd as well.

Yeah man just great old school death metal. They are from Denmark.
They are a part of the New Wave of Old School Death Metal. Big resurgence of that style lately and i love it. Old School Death Metal is the only Death Metal. imo
