Metal/Rock/Industrial The metal thread \m/

First single for Nile's upcoming album just dropped. I honestly didn't like it. I miss earlier Nile songs with the epic egyptian passages (i.e. Ramses, bringer of war), idk some might say that was gimmicky, but at least it was somehow different. This sounds like every other generic brutal death metal band. Boring and dissapoiting.

I saw someone talking about this track when it first released and I thought the song title was a parody of nile song titles lol

Don't think they'll ever top their darkened shrines and annihilation of the wicked era. Those albums are truly epic DM

HOLY SHITBALLS BOYS NEW THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER SONG COMING OUT ON THURSDAY!!

For peeps worrying about it not being Trevor anymore(rip) and Brian doing lead vocals this is a short B-Side off of the last album with Brian on lead vocals. I think he is gonna kill it. on this new stuff. imho

New Nails track, new album coming August 30th, been 8 years since You Will Never Be One Of Us

Didn't really like the last album Shrine had a few good tunes but i feel like there is too much riff recycling going on with this band now. Era and Fracture are fantastic albums though.

New Interloper track. Great band

Here's an older song the one i discovered the band on.

My guy Carlos Cruz from Warbringer joined the band on drums.
did he actually join the band or is it just session work? because he does a lot of session work did a few tracks for Machine Head but never played with them live.

He's joined the band.

"Todd Jones made it with the new lineup of drummer Carlos Cruz (Warbringer), bassist Andrew Solis (Despise You, Apparition), and guitarist Shelby Lermo (Ulthar), and it was produced by Kurt Ballou"
