Happy Birthday Paul Baloff!

The GOAT Metal front man... so fuckin' Heavy.

Destroy something in his honor... property... relationships... lives... all qualify.

Chaos! recently stumbled across this great thrash band from India.

They are really Indian, like they are from Kerala, India. But their sound is absolute metal

Goes to show how good metal knows no borders. It really is one of the most international genres of music.

New track by Nervosa. How have I never heard of this all-female Brazilian thrash/death band before? They're great!

Reminds me of Arch Enemy in their Wages of Sin era.

Trey Azagthoth of Morbid Angel is not doing very well :(
Last night he collapsed on stage and had to quit the show,

Rumors say he has a developed a drinking problem the last years...

Poor Trey man. He's looking pretty rough, like he's aged 20 years in the last 5. Hope he gets some help and eases up on life. Probably the greatest shredder I've ever seen... he's like the death metal lovechild of hendrix and van Halen.

Feeling nostalgic. breaking out some Entombed.

It's funny, I think of this as one of their newer albums, but it was originally released in 2001... twenty-two damn years ago.

R.I.P. LG Petrov. Gone too soon.

Another throwback. the mighty Bolt Thrower. circa 1994.

Still sounds awesome to me, almost 30 years later.

If you told me back then that I'd still be listening to death metal in my middle age, I would have said..... Fuck yeah!

And now for something completely different... Not sure it even belongs in this thread.

My favorite Opeth song, ever.

Again, hard for me to realize I've been enjoying this track for almost 25 years.

Music is timeless. But we are not. Such is life.....
