how did they police people in cities and towns back then... was it just castle guards or did they have a form of police?
Im not entirely sure,it was probably handled by the community to police itself, but i am certain that punishments were severe to keep people in line.how did they police people in cities and towns back then... was it just castle guards or did they have a form of police?
I was just at Medieval Times and saw the torture gear display they had. Did you know chastity belts even had a spiked enterance around the woman’s asshole?

It required a lot of physical strength to wield a longbow, as well as training. The pulley mechanism means that weaker people can use a crossbow.
you sound really old.Medieval time was cool, but ancient Rome or Renassaince were even better to me
As Bacco back to ancient Rome days, as Dionysus a bit further, as raccoon since i dropped the Zoolander avataryou sound really old.
No guitar solos in those times.Nah, I'll pass. Not into having no AC and people stinking all day. I do like going to the RenFair quite a bit though. Hear some old timey accents, eat a leg of meat, watch some fake fighting, then back to the good new days.
Plus, you can't rock out to a damn lute.

i think if you lived inside a giant castle or something there was some kind of guard to deal with troublemakershow did they police people in cities and towns back then... was it just castle guards or did they have a form of police?
Estoc. The diamond shaped stabby bladed swords.Double teaming knights, on the regular? I highly doubt that. Infantry? Sure, all the time.
Also there was a wide variety of special weapons for breaching armor. Misericordias, warhammers, Lucern hammers, swords with thick diamond shaped blades used exclusively for stabbing (hell if I know how you call it in English), and many other. So knights were very capable of killing one another one on one, but it took power, skill, and a well aimed and landed strike.
Agincourt was just a tad short of a miracle, me thinks.
LOL they also made a Paul Walker movie out of it. Awful is too nice.Theres an excellent Michael Chrichton book called Timeline that had people teleport into France in 1347. It showed a realistic view of what would happen if you took a modern person and thrust them in that time. Extremely dangerous with no modern medicine in case you get injured or sick.
Yeah unfortunatley alot of his books have been made into shitty movies. I havent seen it.LOL they also made a Paul Walker movie out of it. Awful is too nice.
