Has it been hypothesized that R2 was the one who hid baby Yoda?
He seemed to be the deciding factor in him going w Luke.
Nit sure if that jives w RotS or not.

Um... don't think R2 was anywhere close to the Jedi Temple in Ep3 before Anakin and the clone troopers massacred everyone in it.

My sentiments exactly.

Nah, I heard there would be a Season 3 next year, in addition to the 'Book of Boba Fett.' Just waiting for official confirmation.

The question is though, what is The Mandolorian without Grogu? Just a bounty hunter?

I'm wondering if perhaps 'less is more' applies to the character and he should be making guest appearances in the dozen other Disney+ Star Wars shows in production, and wait a few more years before a third season.

Just my thoughts.
I just saw a Youtube vid where the guy cites a Lucasfilm artist's tweet saying he thinks Boba and Mando are separate shows and likely Boba is very short limited series like maybe 4 eps.

If Season 3 doesn't have regular significant appearances of cute lil' Baby Grogu, millions are gonna go f'ing bananas and demand immediate remedy. I want to believe F&F are smart enough to know this and not risk pissing off the fans... or pissing off Disney via f'ing with Grogu toy sales.

They should do a Jedi Order series with Luke and Grogu. They can then retcon 7-9 and feature Grogu in the new movies. Then they can time jump 200 years into the future when Grogu is an adult.

R2-D2 definitely vibrated and lit up like he was happy to see Grogu. Grogu seemed intrigued to have a new playmate in R2. Like Luke told Mando, it wasn't that Grogu didn't want to go with Luke, but Grogu wanted Mando's permission. Mando sure was quick to interpret the hesitation as don't wanna go. I'm assuming Luke and Grogu had some long distance Jedi telepathy chat prior to Luke's arrival.

I'm guessing Grogu gets a new outfit to replace the potato sack and sell more toys.

Every upcoming Star Wars movie and TV show should involve Grogu. The lil' fella is so damn cute and rascally. I could use a 20 episode season of Grogu doing goofy shit.

I just saw a super sexy pic of a girl in Boba Fett body paint.

I probably can't post it here.

I put a link to it in the comments on my profile here.

The subsequent shots of CGI Luke didn't look anywhere as bad as the initial reveal where it looked like some human actor who wasn't supposed to be Luke.

*Sigh*

I hate how we are now supposed to support Disney's narrative decisions based on toy sales.

I have a feeling this isn't the last we've seen of Grogu and The Mandolorian together, and they had a plan to get them back together when they decided they should part.

This has been true of Star Wars since forever.

I'm in my fifties and I still remember my Star Wars toys fondly.

You know, we groan when we see the marketing in entertainment, but considering how much fun I had with the toys, that was money well spent. By my parents.

This was one of my favorite toys ever.

He's far too popular to be gone forever.

He's going to appear somewhere.
I worded that oddly. I meant "I wouldn't think so" as in "I wouldn't think that's the last of Grogu"

I've avoided these because I thought they were 'young adult' or even preteen themed..not true? Worth a watch?

I'd say so. The animation takes a while to get used to and you need to just accept the aspects of the show that are clearly aimed at a younger audience, but the stories are great, especially with the Clone Wars.

If you watch a random episode it will turn you away. If you watch from the start and follow the story, you'll find they're far more than the sun of their parts.

It’s a tv show, so the characters are going to be more fleshed out which is why it feels more organic. I think it’s fucked up they took Axe Woves character out and took work away from that male actor that plays him just to have that bullshit female empowerment group to fight. If you’re going to have heroines fight and save the day, then make them take a few beatings like Mando did from a dark trooper and what he took throughout the series. Also we waited decades for a badass scene from boba fett, which we got, but then they later turned him into a little bitch at the bar, because you got to make heroines that good, just because.
It's a double edge sword. The chicks take a beating and fans scream "Fake!! No way she survives that!!" I know it's something I say when I see some dumb shit. Also Koska is a battle hardened Night Owl. She's more than capable of going toe to toe with Boba. Just go with the lore on this one, because there is actual lore to support it, unlike Mary Sue Rey's out of the blue fighter pilot and Jedi skills.

I was thinking he was the deciding factor because Grogu probably remembers seeing him around the temple with Anakin before the Jedi massacre. It looked like R2 remembered him too.

I wouldn't think so. Whatever they do, I hope it involves subverting the sequel trilogy

My money is still on Jocasta Nu.

They are young adult themed due to where they aired from. If you can put that aspect aside, you'll enjoy the lore and history of the SW galaxy. Yes they are worth a watch, and there are tons of lists you can follow if you don't want to commit time to watching the full series, but just key episodes.
