I saw an article suggest maybe Book of Boba Fett is Mandalorian Season 3 since they said both are to premiere Dec 2021 and Disney+ is too stingy to put up both heavy hitters at the same time.

A while back, I did see something about maybe Boba's show was going to be right before Mando S3, so maybe it's short and immediately followed by Mando S3 that runs into Jan 2022.

What if Book of Boba Fett is an actual book or comic tradepaperback and not a live action show?

So I loved the original three movies as a kid and growing up, then he prequels came out and ruined everything. Out of the new movies I’ve only seen Rogue one and that was actually decent. But my god, I can’t believe how much they have made me care about Star Wars again

I'm fine with it. Here's the difference between the MCU's Endgame lady heroes and SW's Fennec,Bo,Koska female empowerment moments. Endgame pretty much forced that it down the throats that the "women" would be handling the gauntlet for the final push towards the van. Then went into an estorgen induced montage of the girls rolling up their sleeves to "do work".

In the SW finale, there was no fan fare. They made a plan, and executed it. There was no set up. No words of empowerment. Nothing. They just went out and executed the plan. Fennec is a competent combatant solo. And Bo and Koska executed their Mandalorian training much like how was established in the animated Clone Wars. The flow of the sequence was natural and organic. And Koska did get worked over earlier tussling with Dad Bod Boba. I'd also wager that Bo and Koska have much more actual combat experience than all the others at this point.

Don't worry, next season we'll probably see Bo and Din face off for the Saber if they decide that's how it has to be. (Even though it shouldn't.)
It’s a tv show, so the characters are going to be more fleshed out which is why it feels more organic. I think it’s fucked up they took Axe Woves character out and took work away from that male actor that plays him just to have that bullshit female empowerment group to fight. If you’re going to have heroines fight and save the day, then make them take a few beatings like Mando did from a dark trooper and what he took throughout the series.

Also we waited decades for a badass scene from boba fett, which we got, but then they later turned him into a little bitch at the bar, because you got to make heroines that good, just because.

so much for let the past die eh disney?
The success of the mandalorian and Disneys announcement of subsequent spinoffs that dont include sequel characters really shows us that Disney knows it f@#cked up and nearly destroyed the whole franchise.

I'd be willing to bet there have been so many staff meetings focusing on this that it's sickening.

Everyone loves Baby Grogu and Mando, and no one cares about Rey, Poe, Finn, Kylo.

If I were the Big Boss, anyone in charge of the sequel trilogy is buh bye. Fav & Fil and Lucas if he wants would be in charge.

Doesn’t it feel good?

You chose wisely.

I thought that one was really solid and enjoyed it start to finish. Even though we all knew how it had to end, it was a great story and I was really invested in the characters.
I didn't care about any Rogue One characters, except for K2-SO. They wasted the use of Donnie Yen. His character could have been some final seconds gamewinning turn the tide gamechanger guy.

Has it ever been clarified how many years after Ep6 'Return of the Jedi' The Mandalorian takes place?

I don't think so. Closest was maybe Cobb Vanth's recount of events after ROTJ.

Why? You hoping they can squeeze in some more quality Favreau and Filoni storytelling in the timeline?

Google told me 9 years when I looked it up to see if Luke's age made sense.

Yeah, its 5 years.

I asked because I'm curious about the posibility of casting Sebastian Stan as Luke Skywalker. Stan is 39 years old, and Luke would be around 30, but I think Stan would still be perfect for the role if he shaves.

He's already involved with a Disney+ series 'Falcon and Winter Soldier,' and he said in 2017 he'd love to have the role. Seems like a no-brainer to offer him the role.

My bad, it's 9 years after A New Hope, 5 from Jedi.

Did Starbuck get killed by Gus Fring or just like shot in the beskar so who cares?
