Yep, I thought Lucas was bad. Then I saw TFA and TLJ, and man Disney is peeing in a pitcher and calling it lemonade.Milking the shit out of Star Wars
I think you might be mixing this up with the next season of "The Clone Wars." That absolutely is about the time when Maul gets over-thrown as the emperor of Mandalor.thought this was going to be about the Mandalorian Wars
But its actually about some can name Mandalorian
Yup instead of constantly going to or around the old series, go delve into the other aspects, however I think old repuplic is not cannon anymore, although I'm not sure.Probably not gonna happen, but something set during the Old Republic era would be cool. Perhaps based around the Mandalorian Wars featuring a transgendered Revan.
I think that it has been and then has not been similar to how the expanded universe was a part of official canon until Disney acquired Star Wars. I'm not sure what the status of TOR is with regards to present canon but it should be part of it as it doesn't interfere with the future of Disney's Star Wars movies and Revan was supposed to appear in The Clone Wars series which is part of the official canon.Yup instead of constantly going to or around the old series, go delve into the other aspects, however I think old repuplic is not cannon anymore, although I'm not sure.
That's the first thing I thought, with Filoni as an Executive producer and director. Adult Sabine before she leaves to search for Ezra. The time period fits.So we gonna get a live action Sabine?
Problem is Disney will take that and poop on it. They really just need to tell a good story and have bad guys that aren't one dimensional. That's it, and they can't do itWell, there's not a lot to go on here... but I think that perhaps that time era can help people understand the political structure of the universe prior to The First Order's arrival.
I think it's a pretty fascinating dynamic between the fallen empire & the New Republic trying to rebuild. Most casual citizens don't even care. Some were happy with Empirical control. That soon after Ep. 6 people still think Jedi/Sith are myths. The empire waz still around though... & the First Order was operating in the unknown regions, but was offering payolla to some congress folk, so it starts getting really easy to see how the universe could accept The First Order being in charge. Especially if they claim the fall of the Empire was an illegal act of violence on them & they are still the rightful rulers.
I don't agree that Kylo is one dimensional. However, I do have a pretty solid theory that people "need" a big bad that curlz their skin. If they don't get it, they feel it's not up to par. I think Kylo is a fascinating villian.Problem is Disney will take that and poop on it. They really just need to tell a good story and have bad guys that aren't one dimensional.
