Episode 3 deflated all hope i have for this series. Was hoping for a gritty Dredd(2012) with a mix of The Boys in the Star Wars universe. Instead its becoming a fluff redemption story afraid to look gritty.

Episode was directed by Deborah Chow, she has a few more episodes lined up too

I was very interested in seeing how she would do since she'll be directing the Obi-Wan series. Props to her.

Really enjoyed episode 3, but not really sure why they all helped him. Kinda opposite of what they were talking about earlier

I thought it made sense.
Mando basically screwed the Empire, which likely gained the respect of the others.

I'm looking forward to the next flashback. The possibilities of who saved him is very interesting to me.

Oh shit, right on. I didn't know who she was or that there'd be an Obi-Wan series but judging from this episode she'll be a good fit.

There's no way they'll have him stay dead, he's too popular. Darth Maul survived, and he got cut in fucking half and dropped down a bottomless shaft. The sarlacc can't be tougher to survive than that.

I watched Return of the Jedi on Disney+ the other day and the Sarlac pit is now an evil plant. Pretty lame.

This is the way.

Fuck, I love loving star wars again.
For the first time in years, I’m excited about Star Wars!
I loved every bit of this episode. Love getting into the Mando culture. I think this series will end up being about the rise of the Mandalorians.

You wanted a Star Wars show to be something Star Wars has never been?

I, for one, am completely disappointed that it isn't a romantic comedy. Like a light hearted "Love, Actually" but with people wearing armor.

I find it interesting that a theme going on is representing ones culture/heritage as opposed to the last Jedi’s kill the past it doesn’t/ it doesn’t matter where you came from.

feel like their are two different marketing approaches going on with Star Wars. One focusing on trying to push into more/new target audiences and another imo being authentic to what made the Star Wars space opera appealing.

Anyway it’s been pretty awesome and I am enjoying it so far. I hope it succeeds and has an impact on the films and the direction they should go.

It's growing on me. I'd like to see some kind of central conflict for the season materialise pretty soon though; I feel like everything we've seen so far amounts to the setup that usually gets covered in a pilot episode.

They are a family for better and for worse the fact that you may not always like your siblings does'nt mean that you won't help them when they are in trouble.

Just binge-watched the first three episodes.

Lived up to the hype. I haven't enjoyed Star Wars-related media this much since I was a kid.

Too bad they didn't let Favreau write and produce the sequel trilogy instead of Abrams.

does anyone think Mando purposely shot his old boss where he did, knowing fully well what was in his pocket?
That was the impression I got. I think they reconcile & that will be a major bit of believeability for Creed letting him slide for fooking up the job.

Did you enjoy the iconic & world famous ice cream maker's return to the big screen? :D
