reminder: all of these movies are remakes.
Badass? Looks like something weve seen. This looks badass. Lol at a bunch of old geezers complaining itt.
someone in AZ shouldn't be so cold..That's so cool! How did they get the animals to talk and act? lol!
Seriously though it looks fuckin cool! Gave me chills, can't wait.
Looking forward to this.
Where does it mention it's 'live action'?
edit: ah in the description, 'From Disney Live-Action'.
edit2: looks like Disney are remaking a lot of the old classics (snow white, cinderella, dumbo, lady and the tramp, alladin etc.). Don't see a problem with that (the Dumbo trailer looks really good). It's a chance for kids to experience these stories as most wouldn't watch the originals and i dont see Disney butchering them like they did with the star wars films.
How was dumbo racist as fuck?Lol the original dumbo is racist as fuck so they gotta make it PC for the new generation.
One of the crows is literally named Jim Crow. The movie came out at a different time so not surprising. How was dumbo racist as fuck?
So CGI is live action now?

Looks really good. W'onder how much they'll deviate or expand on the original story line.
Can't wait to see Simone & Pumba (however their names are spelled)
Exactly my thoughts. Its basically a remastered version of the cartoon.TBH I think people are gonna eat this shit up and act like its the greatest thing ever. but its such a hollow attempt to make money,
the OG lion king is perfect, wtf do we need a CGI version of the same thing?
like, a photorealistic lion isn't going to have the same impact as a handdrawn lion with exaggerated eyebrows and human teeth smiles and shit

like the jungle book before it...there just a lot lost by photorealistic CGI...
but I guess Disney needs to recoup the massive losses from their Star Wars bungling so ez cash grabs it is!
The company’s stance was that those involved with the film had no knowledge of “Kimba” or Tezuka. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, “The Lion King” co-director Rob Minkoff said, “Frankly, I’m not familiar with [the TV series],” in reference to the controversy. He also added that he and co-director Roger Allers first learned about the debate on a trip to Japan to promote the movie.
But as author Madhavi Sunder pointed out, Allers actually worked as an animator in Japan in the 1980s, a place where “Jungle Emperor” was widely seen, and its creator, Tezuka, is known as Japan’s Walt Disney.
Though Disney seems to hold one firm opinion on the Simba vs. Kimba debate, actor Matthew Broderick — who voiced Simba — admitted he was initially confused about his role. “I thought he meant Kimba, who was a white lion in a cartoon when I was a little kid,” Broderick had said in a 1994 interview about his casting.
