Besides it's a little difficult to learn a new language when you are functionally illiterate in your own native language. These European immigrants certainly made a permanent mark on America I will give you that. What would America be today if some functionally illiterate immigrant thug from Palermo, Dublin or Warsaw didn't threaten to beat random individuals to death with a baseball, a crowbar or shoot you in the head with a gun if they didn't give them their hard earned money? It's was so awesome and useful in building America that they corrupted entire police departments, politicians and unions. Who need's honest cops anyway?

Sure going to Las Vegas to lose a boatload of money on the slot machines so some murdering, thieving first generation American who never in his entire life paid a dime in taxes in Chicago or New York could could live the good life. These immigrants and children of immigrants causing you to pay more for your movie tickets because they were extorting money from directors, actors and studios helped a lot in building America. Of course the law abiding were so very, very helpful in locking these people up that it wasn't until the 1950's that law enforcement was even aware of the fact these immigrants and children of immigrants had become organized into international criminal networks.

The Africans weren't exactly given a choice but to learn English. Getting caught speaking their native language could result in things like denial of food, getting sold off, beatings and in some instances death.

I'm not entirely convinced there's a deliberate strategy by Democrats to overwhelm the country with Central Americans and South Americans. I'm not sure why they're so keen on the policy, but it's probably because lax immigration enforcement is looked upon kindly by Hispanics for the most part. One thing is for sure though, the tide is turning and whites really don't have the stomach to stand up for themselves as a "people" to protect their interests. All those people vying for a less white America are likely to get their wish.
