Anything Tate touches turns to gold on social media/YT. Like it or not, this fight will do very well.
Tate's got the Midas Touch only he's not a king. He merely pretends to be under the facade of a luxurious lifestyle and playboy exterior. Hugh Hefner he is not. This fight will do well because he's globally infamous. Controversy sells.

The fight makes a lot of sense.

Havent seen any opinions of it but Jake Paul should kill him right? Has Tate even boxed before?

Andrew Tate was a below average kickboxer, nothing more to say about that.
What about him being a 3-time world champion or whatever? I don't follow kickboxing so closely, so feel free to educate me. Were is titles like the kickboxing equivalent of the IBC or WBU or something?

nearly 50 years old silva ? yeah i Think Tate is a tougher fight.
I don't know, Silva seems like he's a better boxer than Tate. Tate, just based on footage, seems like he'd be more handicapped than Silva by the lack of kicks.

Will it?

His Anderson Silva fight flopped badly and he lost money per an interview or podcast after the fight when the numbers where in.

Andrew Tate is kind of a flash in the pan social media shit stirrer, I really doubt he has a diehard viewer base in the hundreds of thousands that will pay decent money for a celebrity boxing bout.
lol he didnt actually lost money. he said he could have earned millions more if anderson didnt do that interview telling about his sparring.
200-300k ppv buys isnt the best but still enough get a decent profit at a 60 dollars prize point.

ive no idea who this tate person is, not heard of him until this thread popped up

Kind of. He hasn’t really beaten anyone of note, and most Kickboxers don’t have great hands, relative to boxers. Pure boxing I expect him to get beat. Double KO would be my preferred outcome

Where does he compare to say, a Carter Williams...? I'm just curious because on the face of it, 3-time world champion is a pretty awesome accomplishment, with no context (such as what sorts of titles those actually were).

Your last post pretty much summed it up. A kind of ibo/wbu worthless title. I’m not belittling him because it’s still a great accomplishment but if he fought in a major organisation, he wouldn’t be anywhere near a world title.

Most Kickboxers aren’t great with their hands and he’s certainly no different. I think a 50 year old Silva is a tougher fight pure boxing. If they allowed just low kicks it wound more than even this contest up

Its the Dan Blizarian type play. Rent mansions for photoshoots pretend they are actually your properties. Pay models to come hang out with you and have them sign NDAs.
Post it on social media and some influencable lost young men in search of a father & a leader will actually believe that "this guy has life figured out. I want to be cool and liked by women & bros like him."
Dont get me wrong the dude is probably has a ton of money & probably does get a lot of high price glammed up ratchet puss. Its not the empire they are making it out to be. Trust me there is nothing cool about surrounding yourself with vapid skanks for more than 1 late night.

Why the last 7? Apparently you're counting all of Jake's fights (one of which was an amateur bout). For future reference usually it's the last 6 fights that are looked at. BoxRec set that de facto standard years ago as it covers the last 2–3 years of recent activity. Fighting 3 times a year corresponds to 2 years while fighting 2 times a year corresponds to 3 years.

That staredown just looked like a giant publicity stunt to me. Wouldn’t be surprised if they like come out and announce they’re gonna be partners on some project or something along those lines
