I wouldn't be surprised if he has some internal body damages too, when he gets fully examined. He was likely running on adrenaline that night and some of the worst pain likely only hit him later.

He may have a moment where he realizes he's rich enough already and he doesn't need to put his body through this again.

I think he'll try to get a Canelo fight in about a year and if not that, he's probably done.

He definitely didnt want the AJ fight this early. The Tank Davis fight fuck him. Paul co owns the promotion and they were suppose to fight in Atlanta which got denied a license and then they lost the Nov 14th Miami Tank date. Now thats two venues cancelled and they are losing money on and they owed Netflix a fight for 2025. Ngannou turns it down and sounded like there wasn't much left he could have done on 4 weeks to get someone that would have been any interest to Netflix besides AJ. Nate Diaz rematch is a dud.

I doubt we see Jake at all next year.
