no idea.

so he signs for a weight he cant make? doesnt make sense. just my opinion but i think that article is horseshit. Media in general lies to the public on a regular basis. If ticket sells were good they would postpone and do it again. they aint doing it again, and espically not at MSG

he was purposely going to try and force Jake to fight him at 215 by delaying it as long as possible in hopes that he wouldn’t cancel the fight

He had no plans on fighting Jake he is shook to the core. Plus i don't see any outcry from fans who "bought" tickets demanding a refund either.

Because one would sign for the biggest pay day of their life and then use the leverage of having been signed to try and push the weight limit up. Why would MSG even bother lying, in your mind? Is their relationship with Jake Paul that important?

I mean it's pretty obvious the weight issues were legit. The dude never planned to cut as much as he said he would, and Jake Paul would never agree to fight the dude at his optimal weight.

The last major boxing event at msg I can remember was Ruiz v Joshua.

Is there a list showing top 10 boxing cards from msg in the past 15 years? That statement is a bit hollow without actual comparables.

i dont believe anything I read on the internet.. you guys should start doing that as well'

i smell bs here

rahman is not going to lose a few pounds for the biggest payday of his career?? i dont think so

Funny thing is that every single one of these arguments is reasonable.
We just won't really know.
Paul and Dana are full of sh-t; and maybe Jr. is just a piece of sh-t.
Paul definitely doesn't want to fight a competent boxer his own size; and w/o numbers, we don't know what MSG's on about either.

Only bit I'll add is that while I might lean one way or another, I don't believe anyone who's in anything for the money w/o legit tangible evidence.

Edit: <Neil01> Because if you can't use him here, then where?

Yeah this is literally the break someone like Rahman Jr has been waiting for his whole life and he's gonna tank it over 16 pounds?

That doesn't make sense.

Cut a few pounds? Can he even make 200 without cutting a limb off?
He claims to be 216. If he's 216 he can definitely make 200. He might not like it. He might be very uncomfortable. But he can do it. Especially with 3 weeks notice.
