He had no plans on fighting Jake he is shook to the core.
how do you know this? he was talking mad shit for a guy who was never planning on fighting. They were trying to sell this fight and it wasnt selling. so they scrapped it.

He was in Higher Learning, Cop Land, and True Romance. You're watching some suspicious shit, if all you recognize him from is a 90s sitcom.
lol I can't remember where I've seen him. For some reason I get flashbacks to a 90's sitcom. Don't know the ones you listed, not much of a movie guy. Might check them out though since a lot of doggers seem to agree with you. He's insufferable whenever he talks about sports though.

I am a professional shookoligist. o_O

Im just to the point now where I dont 'believe anything i read online. slighty jaded lol. i think the article is bullshit. just my opinion.
It's literally a quote from MSG. Use some critical thinking here man.
He claims to be 216. If he's 216 he can definitely make 200. He might not like it. He might be very uncomfortable. But he can do it. Especially with 3 weeks notice.
His team also admitted to falsifying their original weigh ins. So not even sure he was 216

I mean it's pretty obvious the weight issues were legit. The dude never planned to cut as much as he said he would, and Jake Paul would never agree to fight the dude at his optimal weight.
Also with Diaz scheduling to fight soon and will be a free agent. It opened up that opportunity. It'll be a bigger event when they reschedule with Diaz as the opponent. So it will benefit everyone on the card to wait a bit. It was Rahman's fault for not making weight and lying and messing with the scales to make himself seem lighter than he was. But overall this fight wouldn't do better than the Diaz fight and this one has way more risk than the Diaz fight. So Jake did dodge a bullet there with Rahman not being able to make the contracted weight.

i dont believe anything I read on the internet.. you guys should start doing that as well'

i smell bs here

rahman is not going to lose a few pounds for the biggest payday of his career?? i dont think so

He was heavier than he originally stated. He messed with the calibration of the scales to appear lighter than he was. The commission is the one that prevented the fight from happening because he didn't lose any weight since his last weigh in numbers. They were going to do it at another weight at 205 but Rahman wouldn't agree to it and wanted it at 215. So Rahman wasn't really trying to lose the weight, his plan all along was to make Jake Paul accept the fight at a higher weight which backfired since their team just pulled the plug and is moving on. Rahman tried to strong arm Jake at the end and it didn't work. Rahman was looking for an extra advantage even though he's supposed to have the boxing experience advantage, he also wanted an extra size/weight advantage.

I can say with confidence that I would not have paid for that fight

I can say with confidence that nobody I know would have paid for that fight

I can say with confidence that under 5 people in the city where I live would have paid for that fight

Nobody gives a shit about Jake Paul or his corny youtube shtick, or his brother

He had no plans on fighting Jake he is shook to the core. Plus i don't see any outcry from fans who "bought" tickets demanding a refund either.
The refunds is part of the policy. Anyone who bought tickets will get refunded, that's how all cancelled events go.

Dana is so butthurt that jake will make bank at msg lol

Michael also hosted the Wendy Williams show for a while. Just figured it should be mentioned.
He also had a good rant video about the dorks that assembled at a confederate monument with tiki torches on the VCU campus.

Why all the hating? They're both alright. Mike is an ok actor (there are tons worse in hollywood), and Jake is actually paying his dues, bringing money and eyes to boxing. Jake was even gonna get smoked in the process, had jr not f'ed up. That deserves som praise

True Romance might be most underrated movie of the 90s. It gets decent recognition, but not enough. Some of the most insane story and dialogue ever seen in film. The collage of talent is obscene. Hopper/Walken is one of the P4P GOAT scene in cinematic history imo. The entire package is simply legendary.

Ha, it's a fun movie. I wouldn't rate it nearly so highly, but it's a great action film. Tony Scott was no Ridley Scott, but he was certainly a notable director. (Of course, personally, I'll argue all day that taken purely with their 80s films into account, that Ridley Scott is one of the most talented and visionary directors ever in film but when you consider his entire body of work it homogenizes into something much more bland and purposeless, but that's just to be a critic, as obviously both of them were world class directors and I've never put together a film longer than 2 minutes - LOL)

Fair takes for anything subjective. Both were beasts behind the lens for sure but hard to argue Ridley's overall superiority. Tarantino's writing for True Romance is imo, what elevates the film. Tony did a fine job putting that insanity to film though.

He messed with the calibration of the original scale when he weighed himself signing the contract for the fight. He weighed way more than 215. He's been trying to cut weight and the best he got to was 214 a week before the fight. He never fought below 211 ever. He wasn't going to make the weight and tried to force Jake Paul into a fight at 215 instead. The commission dropped the fight because Rahman wasn't going to make the weight. Jake Paul agreed to 205 and Rahman wouldn't agree to that weight either. Rahman knows his bodies limit, he thought he could make the weight and couldn't and tried to force Jake into a fight at a higher weight class. Jake Paul fights close to his walk around weight, he doesn't have that extra weight to gain so he would weigh in significantly lighter.

Really it's just Rahman looking for every advantage even though he's the one that's supposed to be the lifelong boxer with the actual real boxing experience. Still wanted the extra weight advantage because he wasn't really that confident with the fight. It says a lot when you are the more experienced fighter and still needing a weight/size advantage.
