Chuck is old, over the hill, punch drunk but still has a name. Fits the Jake Paul criteria almost perfectly.
This is a step back, the point is now to up the level of competition each time. He just fought Woodley twice and is fighting a legit boxer now. The Chuck fight would never happen now. Chuck isn't at the physical level to be accepting any fights right now. Back then yes he would've slept Jake Paul, but not now.

Yes Paul would obliterate Silva in boxing. Andy isn’t boxing any young guys with speed and power.
Paul is basically hendo with a monster right hand but slow feet and no head movement Silva wins easily even at his advanced age

No he isn't. He's fucking terrible.
Alright we get it you’re edgy but ya dunno boxing

guy with no amateur career and like 5 total fights KO’d a champion fighter with a storied career. That’s fucking unheard of.

Tommy fury backed out of 2 consecutive fights with him. He’s fighting 12-1 hasim Rock rahman jr next.

Boxers do not progress this quickly in their careers. Ever.

He’s gifted and way beyond his experience

Is that you Jake? Tommy Fury is a celebrity puss.

He’s also an undefeated boxer. Most fighters with Jake Paul’s record wouldn’t dream of fighting a guy like Tommy fury or Rahman jr this early in their careers.

Like him or hate him?, gotta respect him

Are they related to Kyokushin?

Well, many of those are similar roots, simply branched off from different families and teachers from long ago. Obviously every art and specialty is unique, but karate as a whole has plenty of similar functions and characteristics.

what's hilarious is that people try to paint askren as someone who didn't have absolutely atrocious boxing. it doesn't matter if he spent 20 years doing nothing but boxing, walk into any half decent gym and you'll find 10 kids who have been training for 3 years and would beat the ever living shit out of askren in a boxing match. the man can't box. that's it. that's all there is to it.

nobody is upset about jake knocking out fools who have no business boxing. what rubs people the wrong way is the way jake behaves when he does that. the insufferable prick is acting like he's a top boxer, and fans of the sport are forced to see his stupid mug plastered all over every boxing related media. it's annoying. if he had any class whatsoever or didn't act like the world's biggest fucking douchebag, i think we'd all have a much better opinion of him and what he does in the ring.

he and his brother both target 13 year olds and people with the mental capacities of 13 year olds, and all reasonable adults are reasonably annoyed by it.

Totally agreed. They are both annoying as hell and I can't wait to see Paul lose.

The issue is people create this fake argument of "fight a real boxer." What does that mean? Why is Jake a real boxer? Is Tommy Fury a real boxer? How about Rahman Jr? Or does Jake need to fight Jai Opetaia to prove he is a "real" boxer? Aside from fighters that have extensive amateur backgrounds, world champions are fighting complete cans early on in their career. Many of those fights are also fixed/corrupt decisions to give up-and-comers the win.

I dislike Jake, it sounds like you despise him to an unhealthy extent, but I get it. He is an annoying YouTube star that never needed to box, but he did it anyway, which makes me respect him in that regard. Yes, he claims to be elite, but he has also rolled back some claims. He told Eddie Hearn to his face that he will beat anyone in his stable with less than 10 fights. That sounds fairly reasonable to me, even though he'd likely lose to most. You can't deny people are upset that he is beating former MMA champions. You're on an MMA message board for crying out loud -- a lot of people are wounded about that.

Now if he beats Rahman, everyone that hates him (likely yourself) will trash the win and say Rahman sucked. Fine, but then again, Jake isn't a real boxer is he? Who does he need to beat to satisfy randomg1t?
