Yeah, it's the first time I've seen it for a music video to be honest.
It still seems silly that anybody does it at all when the content behind the trailer/"cold open" is under 5 minutes.
I'm know it's because stats have proven that people check out after 30 seconds, so if you don't provide that hook before hand then people will check out.
It's just kinda sad/silly how quickly people lose interest. (I've found myself having less time/patience as I get older, so I'm definitely part of the problem haha)

Yeah I agree. There are so many shots/cuts and so many layers in audio in some popular films and productions. I'm like what the fuck is going on. Nothing is happening and everything is at the same time.
