Yeah but I think Dana might attend also given he's the CEO of the main subsidiary. It's not just the CEO there answering questions then again I don't think every corp does this the same exact way. But anyhow he's doing this for some reason so just speculating on what that might be.

He wasn’t on the investor call

Some old dude? Lol Woodley was only two years removed from being UFC champion when they first fought.

Hasn't won a fight in years. He is old by MMA standards. He is way past prime. And he is not a boxer. He is not worth millions in his own sport, but he is worth millions in Boxing? I don't think so. People paid to watch a freak show. And that's it. Once the novelty factor was over, you can check how the PPV numbers ended up. The UFC doesn't run on novelty factors. Dumb fucks don't understand this.

Lol the UFC is nothing but “novelty factors.” Colby got his second unwarranted title shot off beating that same “old man” Woodley. Usman’s entire “#1 p4p” reign is built entirely off guys who made their name against old man Woodley.

But yeah no novelty factors in UFC ranking fighters based on whatever they like, and giving spots on PPVs to guys like CM Punk lmao. Never a novelty factor involved. Can’t fool you.

Dana has been working to get out of the business. He has been slowly selling his shares of the company since the fertittas sold to WME.

I heard Jake bought Walt Disney’s cryo-frozen head so he can make a table out of it.

Dana has to do whatever he says now. UFC fighters bout to get paid.

Glad to see fighters stepping up and taking control of their business.

Yes, when you buy a few shares you run the company…..

It’s getting crazy for Dana , first the ngannou scandale now this.

You can if you become the majority shareholder. We don't know how much he bought. I am guessing he bought enough for him to be big talking like this.

Jake Paul has fans?

<45>

OP, lemme guess in addition to posting on Sherdog you also frequently post on tumblr?

Lol He is just trolling obviously. I dont know his net worth but I can tell you right now, he doesnt have enough money to buy majority shares in a billion dollar company.

There is approximately zero percent chance that he bought enough to have any say at all.

It's not always necessarily about the amount of stock you own in a company. According to Paul's twitter, he has reached out to Engine No. 1 to get them on board. Engine No. 1 is a so-called "impact investment group" that recently got famous for securing 3 board seats at Exxon Mobile, while owning a mere 0.02% of all Exxon Mobile stocks, valued at a comparatively measly 12.5 million USD - against a lot of resistance from other board members, management, and major shareholders.

At this level in business, influence is much more about networking, lobbying, politics (and political influence/affiliation) than mere numbers. So it's a long shot, but not completely infeasible, that an activist venture capital group could make Jake Paul a board member of Endevour.

It’s a completely different situation and completely different value proposition.

Like you said, it’s not impossible to influence board seats without a huge investment but this one is a wild long shot.
