She lost because white racist uneducated people who didn't actually study his policies and thought "Make America Great Again" sounds awesome (same thing Regan used as a slogan). She lost because the DNC is full of fools who sabotaged the peoples best interest in an attempt to keep the Clinton brand moving. Bernie would have won without an issue, but instead of being for the people the DNC decided it was going to be for the Clintons. Trump isn't going to accomplish half of what he wanted, but he will do is keep the hate alive unless he immediately distances himself from all the wacko KKK and similar groups that are proping him up as the great white savior.

Anyway, sad day for alot of people, I dont think to many people realize that this will make the racial and sexist divide worse, simply because they racists are going to use him as a symbol, even if he doesn't want that.

Because people all over the Western world are sick of what they perceive to be the political elite and Clinton is basically the personification of that, while Trump claimed to be anti-establishment.

Clinton got more votes, though, and Obama is way more popular than both candidates. That explanation doesn't hold water.

There's no magic-bullet explanation. In any presidential election, either candidate has a good chance to win. I don't know that we can go much deeper than that with any reliability.

There is simply no excuse for voting for the most unqualified Presidential candidate in history vs. the most qualified unless you are stupid and easily deceived. I wish I could just get in a time machine and fast forward 4 years so I don't have to experience Trump's Presidency because this is going to be painful to watch.

You didn't really read the OP, did you? TS claims Clinton lost the election because of the glass ceiling. Clinton winning the popular vote disproves that.

Rust belt states who are hopeless yet oblivious to fact that is just no solution to their plight actually took Trump's words of "what do you got to lose?" to heart (even though he directed that towards black people) .
