Linguistically, "ban guns" can also refer to specific types.Oh... So by "ban guns" you mean an intention to place bans on specific models or types of firearms, not all weapons, universally.![]()

I have. The talk all the fucking time about banning them. Please read the thread.
Weakening the people who hire people seems bad IMHO.I am saying that the entrepreneur needs to hire staff and anything that you do to strengthen the hand of the worker must also weaken the hand of the person doing the hiring because they are in opposition to each other.
People talk about corporations as if they just spring into existence as large regional/national entities and aren't the end result of little guys getting bigger. And where do you draw the artificial line that you're going to stop helping the little entrepreneur?
I'll never understand how someone can claim to be pro worker yet pro open borders.
So you believe the border should be closed?I've never heard a single person say we should have open borders. That seems to be one of the right's favorite strawmen.
So you believe the border should be closed?
And if no one wants an open border why do we have an open border?
And the right wants open borders. Lol. Who do you think exploits the cheap labor
Even before that it was the business party, especially if you include its predecessor the Whig Party. Which isn't necessarily bad, even from a marxist perspective. Capitalism is an advancement compared to what you had before. This is propaganda. Circa 1956, the Republicans were undercutting labor, albeit to a less despicable extent than 1980-present. The Republican Party was never (never) pro-worker post-Lincoln. Immediately after the Civil War, it became the big business party.
We don't have an open border.

I'm not saying the republicans are bad. Capitalism is a necessity in my view. But the republicans were the party of big business and business owners also care about the environment. You do know that Nixon created the EPA?
What Eisenhower actually did as president?
We don't have an open border.
So no one is crossing it?
Do u think the border patrol think it's open?
If your wife tells u her shirt is buttoned close but when u look at it it's open and her beautiful tits are hanging out. Is her blouse closed or open?
I just want the government to be smaller, tax less, and not spend so much damn money. Why can't we have that in America?
Everything government attempts is wasteful, inefficient, and/or limits freedom.

Factually false. Eisenhower actually raised top marginal rate to 90% with a Republican congress. Those days are long gone. Both parties are co-opted by big business and hedge fund managers. For example Democrats gave us the hedge fund manager loophole whereby thier income is treated as investment and they pay 0-15% on trillions in incomeThe republicans were never pro-worker. They were always a businessman party.
The chamber of commerce has pitted one vs the other. Right to work laws pit one vs the other.
Hey, I would love if corporate America bargained in good faith. They don't though.
We are in a war whether you like it or not.
