Ana de Armas is my biggest hollywood crush. she is perfection

They wasted her. She was so much better in the Bond movie. They kept her fully clothed and gave her zero personality or charm.

I haven't watched it yet but I don't need to see her naked. It's her eyes that draw me in. She is absolutely mesmerizing. Blade Runner is one of my fav films because of her

Seriously, I think they left some wiggle room for Lloyd to be alive. Yes, we saw his motionless body while the compound was being secured but they could explain that he was just nearly dead (we didn't see Six or Suzanne check his pulse) and they managed to revive him afterwards. Denny could have been lying about the autopsy and covering it up because they're good buddies.

I feel like in the Gray Man Universe, they can bring any character back for any reason. I mean, it is not like they are going to let physics or basic storytelling or anything stop them.

If there really is a Gray Man 2, they can do a little cut scene that shows Lloyd surviving or being turned into a cyborg or cloned or whatever and this thing will just keep trucking.

And while I am not keen on a Gray Man 2, I am 100% down for the return of Lloyd's moustache and I don't care what they need to do to make that happen.

It was not half bad for a big action movie. I actually liked it.

^ this.

I was entertained throughout the movie.

I have a hard time getting into anything and seem to fall back on Parks and Rec, Brooklyn 99 etc.

One of the first movies in a while that kept my attention.

I watched it. Would give it around a 7 but a lower 7. The action was good, I liked Goslings character and I thought Evans was a good villain. Ana de armas was good in it too and it's always good to see Thorton. Page was a good villain too.

Biggest problem I'd say is the movie loses steam toward the end but someone still manages to rush through the last 10 minutes or so which makes the ending feel very underwhelming and it took away some of the satisfaction.

Also the niece character was not developed enough for me to care enough.

I would say it's worth a watch.

But Extraction with hemsworth is better.

Any half assed excuse to bring that character back... I'll allow it. He was definitely the best part of the movie for me. I'd love to see the character again.

Giving this a watch tomorrow.

Ana de Armas also has a Marilyn Monroe movie on Netflix coming later this year. It's supposed to be Netflix's first ever movie with a NC-17 rating.
Holy shit for a film to get that rating they are doing some hard core lesbian stuff or showing an erect penis "blue is the warmest color"had both those things.

The bullet didn't hit any vital organs. Yeah that's it.

7/10 on the strength of Evan’s douche mustache. What a great asshole villain.

Watched it the other night.

Not bad, not great.

Good action, fun popcorn flick.

Average to below average. IMO Gosling has the charisma of a wet brick and makes Keanu look like the master of facial expressions.

One thing to keep in mind is that a $200m streaming movie is not the same cost structure as a $200m movie from a traditional studio with a theatrical release.

There is no backend on a Netflix movie like Gray Man. Everybody is getting paid up front. For a movie like Gray Man with big stars and in demand directors & producers, that is a lot of money going to talent as part of the production budget.

For example, we know that Scarlett Johansson got $20m upfront for Black Widow and then sued for an extra $50m on the backend. (she apparently got most of that in the settlement)

Since there is no backend for the talent on Gray Man that means that Gosling, Evans, Russo bros, et al got much bigger salaries upfront.

I just saw it sorta. I play a movie before I go to sleep. I actually fell asleep but the fucking gunshots woke me up at the end.

Movie was boring as hell. Man movies really suck ass.

It had some cheesy AF moments which resulted in some unintentional comedy. Movie was terribly written. Some porno level acting from ana de armas and homegirl from ironfist. The only good thing about this movie was the action sequences and gun fights they kept a ridiculous pace. The cgi from the maze at the looked like some shit from 2002.
