Crime The Gabby Petito case.

only is a news story because covid surging, border is a mess, Afghanistan is a disaster and a war crime carried out on an ally and children, inflation is at 40-50 year high and economy is a mess and we need to raise debt limit and/or government shut down.....

.........and most importantly of all. AZ is about to release audit report, and multiple other states are starting audits. Operation distract.

peterson also mentioned to amber frye before laci was killed that his wife had passed lol .. if anyone was following the case when it happened, there was a bunch of shit including his own behavior that made him look guilty .. kinda like oj writing a suicide letter and fleeing in the bronco while holding a gun to his head .. anyways back on topic

Sometimes these stories fuck with you though once the truth comes out like that dad who killed his family and put them in oil tanks or some shit. Shit like that haunts me worse than those ISIS and cartel vids

Usually cause they are killing a rival or someone who also uses violence

These other cases are just so shocking that one would kill their own blood or love. If you have a crazy evil relative sure but otherwise yeah

I don't know about that. He had and alibi for his location at the time the murder allegedly went down(including computer activity at his office, IIRC). They essentially convicted him on his fishing spot, a hair in is boat, an affair, and his odd behavior afterwards.

Not saying he's innocent, but there are plenty of unanswered questions with that case. I probably would've convicted him if I was on the jury, but I wouldn't have given him the death penalty.

Agreed. You got a source for his alibi? I don't recall reading about that. That's interesting.

While this is true, Peterson also had no answers for any of the circumstantial evidence they brought forth. That wasmabout the strongest case possible without direct evidence.

Wasn't he the guy that killed his family and stuffed them in 50 gallon drums? I thought they had him on video with the drums moving the bodies?

48 hrs did a sort of rebuttle documentary, its worth checking out if your interested. I used to stanch believe he did it. But upon viewing the doc and checking up on the claims in it, I'm skeptical now.

I don't disagree. The cops aren't your friends.
That being said, this was his gf or fiance...and he's driving her car without her while she's missing. He looks guilty as hell. It's not how we normally see these kinds of things play out, so I think it's part of the intrigue.
I agree the dude should've been in a cell instantly as he came back until the body has been found, man these cops are lazy asf all them donuts must be killing whatever remaining brain cells they have left.

Yeah, I'm not sure what the exact laws are on this, but at bare minimum, there should have been tabs put on this guy since he was obviously the prime suspect. Shouldve been eyes on him 24/7. His actions said that he either did it, or knew what happened.

I can't imagine myself not being posted outside that guy's house if I was related to the girl.

A private investigator could probably do a better job lol.

You can't just lock people up because, "maybe."

We have a process.

It appeals to the news watching demographic which is middle to late middle age suburban white people.

I know he wasn't a suspect but when you look at the comprehensive situation--- the guy, as he normally is, can't shut up. He's always on social media, making a big deal about everything. Then he's suddenly as sullen as can be, and he came back without her. I don't understand how they wouldn't have tabs on him at all times. So he's only a person of interest, and not a suspect, fine.
But it looks to me like one of those times where the missing person situation became nothing more than an "account" if you will, and people from different departments go in, do their job, file things properly but never really look at the entire context. People were pointing the finger at this guy pretty much as soon as it was clear there was a problem.

Are you implying OJ did it? If the glove doesn't fit you must acquit!
