I'am curious how about the police captain does anyone think he
could be the Reverse-Flash.

My theory:

The Reverse-Flash is the offspring of Eddie Thawne named Eobard Thawne AKA Professor Zoom. Eobard is from the Future. Barry needs to become the Flash in order to create the Speed Force, which is where RF will draw his powers from thus he cannot / will not kill Barry.

When Cisco mentioned that he saw 2 different electricity colours. I believe the yellow electricity was emitted by Barry Allen the red one by Zoom. In the comic books Barry Allen learns time-travelling. I think that we will see this aspect later in the series or maybe even this season. This will play an important role in Zoom's "birth". Zoom is waiting for the perfect opportunity to kill the Flash (Crisis event). As for now Zoom will pass his time by taunting and humiliating Barry Allen.

I believe that Wells is also from the Future and another version of the Reverse-Flash "Hunter Zolomon" Hunter Zolomon is crippled in the comics by Gorilla Grodd (we see him in one of the earlier episodes).
He dedicates his life to make the Flash a better hero. But he has ulterior motives related to the "Crisis" event. This version of Zolomon will probably be a bit different from the comics.

Well the cosmic treadmill is critically important in all of this, and i'm waiting to see when they will upgrade it or figure out a way that it can be used for time traveling. However first things first, and that is Barry needs to learn that he can in fact travel faster then light.

What eveyrone needs to know is that the reverse flashes cannot kill Barry as he needs to exist for them to exist. They simply bully him, and do very much want to kill him, but in order for that to happen they themselves need to be a paradox.

Already posted, JB.

First Glimpse of Firestorm's New Costume in THE FLASH

The torso design is very similar to the one he wears in the comics.

Eh, it was the last post of the page and nobody else commented on it so I didn't see it.

Room for growth , though surprised that the speedsters we revealed this early but at least we still don't know exactly who we are dealing with

To be honest, in my opinion this wasn't early, it was a good time.

I think we've been conditioned by these shows dragging out this stuff as long as they possibly can, which I find beyond annoying.

The pacing in the Flash story has been very, very good, I'm really enjoying it.

With Amanda Pays back as Tina McGee, Mark Hamill scheduled to play an older version of The Trickster, I'm totally ready for John Wesley Shipp to be revealed as the former Flash!

Peyton List to Play Captain Cold's Sister The Golden Glider

Peyton-List-The-Flash-Dragonlord.jpg

Raising trouble for the Flash and the citizens of Central City is about to be a family affair. Peyton List has just been cast as Lisa Snart (known in comics as The Golden Glider), the younger sister of Wentworth Miller

the funny thing about the show is the characters that will appear and reappear is that they are all NON metahumans...captain cold..heat wave...golden glider...

and even in the comic, with the exception of reverse flash/zoom; all his most dangerous enemies are regular people w/high tech weapons..

even though dc concept of regular humans are massively overpowered as well

Yeah, setting his head twirling like a top.

On a side note, to the mayberry threads about if life had comic book heroes & villains, that would suck ass. Everyone thinks about being on top, no one things about being the people in the destroyed communities. Or the believe that only NYC and LA is where shit would go down.

i think about this too..given how much damage is done..how many people die; it be hard to walk out my front door..much less work or have any kind of real life...

It certainly is unrealistic how quickly and easily everything always get rebuilt unless the destruction is a key plot point. In the real world all cities would look about one third war zone and one third construction zone at any given time

At least The Flash and Arrow are good in that regard.

After Malcolm Merlyn leveled the Glades and killed hundreds of people, the repercussions were felt for most of the second season. And after Slade's attack, Ray Palmer made a point of the fact that Staling City is dying because everybody is leaving. Even now, Starling City probably does look one third war zone and one third construction zone at any given time

And in The Flash, even though the destruction wasn't as widespread, the S.T.A.R. Labs folks are still pariahs.

I like the series alot. Who is the doctor supposed to be? Does he have a flash ring?

been catching up on some episodes I missed and i gotta say i dont like how easily the flash gets caught in fights sometimes. i can accept if he gets caught unaware or it's something he cant dodge, but watching him against the metal skinned guy there didnt seem to be any reason for him to get caught even thrown off by a broken hand.

Anyone else feel like the fight coordinators take the lazy route sometimes?

Agree with what you are saying. But I've resigned myself to the fact that the writers have to "magically" handicap Flash from time to time to make the story more interesting.

SPARTACUS' Liam McIntyre is the New Weather Wizard in THE FLASH

It appears that Spartacus actor Liam McIntyre has joined the cast of The Flash as the new Weather Wizard. McIntyre is presumably playing Clyde Mardon's brother Mark. It's strange that we've heard nothing about this casting, but PUNKD Images are reliable, so the actor has more than likely been cast as Weather Wizard if they're saying he was spotted on set in this villainous role.

CW really seem to love casting Spartacus actors. They need to get Gannicus in one of the shows, he was the best one imo.
