Reverse-Flash could be pretty scary to little kids. Super speed, he's mysterious, he kills people and dem glowing red eyes. He's the best thing the show has going for it, and can make this be a really interesting show. They have a good line up with Reverse-Flash, Firestorm, Captain Cold returning and the upcoming Grodd.

Just because Wells has the suit in his secret room doesn't necessarily mean he was the one wearing it. It could be a red herring. He could be guiding him like he's guiding Flash.

So, it looks like there's 3 speedsters, though still maybe just 2. What Barry saw as a kid could have been Reverse-Flash and Flash who traveled back in time. I guess they could have Eddie as the Reverse-Flash and Wells as Zoom or maybe Barry's dad.

One thing I noted was when the reverse flash was staring down Eddie when he didn't kill him, he was significantly taller than Eddie. So it makes me lean towards Eddie not being a time traveling reverse flash.

Watching the two battle was awesome. Special Effects for a TV show are great. I thoroughly enjoyed the show.

It's all speculation on my part but I don't believe the reverse flash in this episode is Harrison, but probably someone who knew him from the future or heard of him. It could be someone from the Thawne family, which is why he didn't hurt someone who was his ancestor, or it could have been Eddie himself (even though he is taller and muscular then the Cop Eddie, the powers that made him the reverse flash altered his body as well.

Harrison could just be the first reverse flash in the sense he becomes Hunter Zolomon or is a descendant of Thawne from the future.

ONE THING you should all keep in mind is that the reverse flash family were originally not all evil folks, the nature of the reverse speed force makes everyone insane. Things that would bother your mind but you wouldn't act on would be your focal point in going after someone in the most twisted and vile way, to the point of insanity. Hence the love hate they all have for the Allen family and vice versa.

At the end of the day it all depends how they go about the concepts of time travel in the show.

First Look at Ronnie Raymond and Professor Stein in THE FLASH

Robbie Amell, who plays Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm in The Flash, has posted a photo to his Facebook page, posing with Victor Garber, who plays Professor Stein, his mentor. In the comics, Ronnie Raymond and Professor Stein were the first two people to share the body of Firestorm. Later, Luc Roderique was cast as Jason Rusch, who is the current "other half" of Firestorm. You'll note that they're wearing the same outfit, likely an indication that Firestorm took the form of Professor Stein at some point, since thats not the clothes Ronnie was wearing the night he died

One thing that threw me for a loop last night was all the love triangle shit, I was certain that was leading to a reveal as Eddie as reverse-flash. Talk about a red herring.

Eddie Thawne must be the ancestor of the future Zoom/Reverse Flash, hence why he can't kill him. That would make the baddie we saw Eobard Thawne aka Professor Zoom.

I really liked that part. You're looking out your window, and suddenly you see the motherfucker who murdered your mother, and a fraction of a second later, he could be punching your face in.

they really made firestorm come off well; the fire effect looked amazing and the flight looked even better; firestorm came in one shotted reverse flash and flew off like a BOSS!!!!!!!

Great mid-season finale. Really cool to see Flash and Reverse Flash duke it out. Seeing John Wesley Shipp again reminded me of the old Flash show and how cooler the visual effects are now and made me more appreciative of the current show.

Was pretty nice to see Amanda Pays again. I was hoping Shipp and her would share the same screen to complete the reunion. Suffice to say Shipp has aged more gracefully than Pays.

Even though they revealed that Wells is really the Reverse Flash, part of me still thinks that it's not that easy and Eddie is the real Reverse Flash in the future. When Eddie insisted on being part of the sting, I thought this was going to be how he would get his powers since the tachyon machine was involved. Maybe the reason why Reverse Flash didn't kill Eddie is that Eddie is his ancestor?

I have a feeling that Firestorm might get his spinoff show in the future.
