Indie The First Berseker: Khazan

Just finished Elamien. Pretty meh fight tbh and a bitch of a level to figure out where the hell to go. Honestly this game is beginning to feel like more work than anything. I'm not sure I have it in me to finish.

That’s the low point of the game honestly. The areas and bosses are better after that. I’d rank her as my least favorite boss in the game. Not the most difficult but just really annoying and not fun to fight against.

Just fought her buffed version in a side mission. Somehow an even worse fight the second time around.

Well no way in hell I’m finishing this before DOOM. This game is ridiculously long and I haven’t had a ton of time to play.

On the Princess now and she doesn’t seem overly challenging but it’s pry my last boss until I get some dooming in.

Isn’t Doom still a week away? 15th if I recall correctly. You’ve got like 8 hours left in this game. You could still pull it off.

They just uploaded a boss rush trailer. Comes out May 15th. Not going to post it here because it has major spoilers. Obviously targeting players who have beaten the game already.

I got the CE so I’ve got early access on the 12th. I’m still gonna play both titles but this will be on the back burner for a bit.

I don’t think I could come back to this game completely cold and finish end game stuff.

Just killed Shactuka.I'm at level 76 and it says it recommends level 81 to continue the main story. I've done all the side missions. What am I missing?

This is low key bragging lmao. This obviously means you are doing extremely well and barely dying to anything. I died so many times that I was like 20 levels above the recommended level for each stage.

Honestly though, I also destroyed all the gear I didn't need for extra lacrima. Every time I finished a main stage I'd have like 2 levels worth of lacrima gained from just turning in gear. Give that a try

Completely stuck on Trokka. Played her for 3 hours last night and only got to phase 2 twice in which i was insta-killed. She hits me once with anything and it stunlocks me and I'm done. Wtf is this shit?

Also, almost all of my gear disappeared????? I only have 1 spear now and like 3 helms. I had like 20 Spears?? What the hell caused that to happen??

Best strategy I found for her was to interrupt her casting as much as possible, especially when she tries to put the water bubble on herself or in phase two when she’s summoning.

No idea about your gear, did you accidentally scrap it?

No, apparently its a somewhat common glitch even on PS5. There is a way to reload a few saves ago though so I'm going to try that.

Completely stuck on Trokka. I've watched every guide on Youtube and I honestly think this may be a case of im too old for this shit. I just can't be that sharp for that long. It's day three and I had something like 150 summons today alone and went through them all. When she flies in phase 2 it just melts me

Are you staying near the jellyfish that glows a different color? It pretty much gives you infinite stamina to dodge with. Just spam the dodge left and right while staying near it. That's what I did.

Yes.

Got Hismar down last night, overall I liked it and it’s pry a better dragon boss than most Souls but they still ran into the same issue and that’s whiffing almost constantly because of the size and movements of said dragon.

Not an overly hard fight though and I’m determined to see this game through. Not much more to go.

The dragon and the chick that blocks all your attacks were easily the worst bosses for me. The bosses after the dragon are probably my favorites. Love the music in the second last boss fight. I think that's stage 15. Can't recall the name of the level but it's a beautiful track. You'll know it when you hear it.

Yeah, I’m up to her now. You’re 100% about the soundtrack. The whole level really was great. Really cool fight. Again doesn’t seem overly hard but those tricky two stagers are always a pain. I only got a few attempts in today.
