Scored 3 brutal knockout against prime Fitch.
Outstruck Penn badly in the rematch.
Outstruck Alves with 1 KD.
Outstruck Bisping who outstruck Silva rather easily.

Same thing with Kos and Fitch. Those kind of prolonged desctruction where they felt helpless broke them mentally.

Bisping was on the best win streak of his career and he easily beat silva for all the fight except one knee that silva was able to land when bisping was talking to the ref.

The problem that georges has is that he doesnt have a legacy cementing fight that 100 years from now people will still watch. There is literally zero hl reel stuff for posterity and to capture future generation imaginations.

Think about the anderson, fedor and bones hl reels. In 100 years from now fight historians will reference some of their finishes and classic fights with other legends. Gsp will not have his fights dissected and studied. He will be be forgotton because he just didnt deliver excitement and finishes.

I kind of disagree with you here.
First, let me start by the "emblematic fight" you desire: GSP & Serra II
He was vicious there, and beat Serra everywhere! It was a brutal beating that he showed he was (far) above Serra, and proved the first fight a fluke... well... or at least the old saying that "anything can happen" in an MMA fight.

But as for "future generation" or "historians", I would say that they have plenty to study GSP with. Timing & accuracy. He was impeccable and unbelievably good at that, to the point he could do the exact same thing over and over and still no one could stop him.
I mean, you can't deny how dominant he was throughout the whole fight.

It's like people say: Silva was Pele, Fedor Maradona and Jon was Messi. GSP was Cristiano Ronaldo. all amazing fighters/players. To pick the best? It all depends of taste.
But let us not demean one to prop the other. It is a disfavour to the sport.
