Law The fbi set to hand over incriminating Biden doc to maga tomorrow

I wouldn't take that bet I am not sure if the FBI tried to concealed this as long as possible but I don't have a lot of faith if it is true that will come to true light. My best guess is Hunter did take bribes on his dads name and lied to Joe about it or Joe didn't know. But if he has audio phone convo's that's a different story.

I think it's completely nuts to think that the FBI would conceal it (makes sense that they wouldn't want to publicize a baseless accusation, but if Biden actually took a bribe, they'd be all over it). I don't think Hunter has ever been in a position to take a bribe, but I'm sure Burisma hired him in hopes of influencing Joe, but also note that what they wanted was for Shokin NOT to be fired. That's what makes the whole thing fall apart. There was bipartisan and international agreement that he had to be removed because he was corrupt, and Burisma wanted him to stay. It's really odd how that all got twisted later.

He's 82 and has more money than he will ever be able to spend , why do it ?
Breaking Points had one of Biden's biographers on last year. Within the conversation, he stated that when he first entered the Senate, Biden realized quickly that his colleagues in the Senate were all from old money (they were the living embodiment of Thurston Howell III). He felt like he wasn't taken seriously because he wasn't as rich as his peers. So, he made it a life goal to ensure his family would be taken care of. That his family would be as wealthy as the families of other Senators.

If these allegations are true, it's not necessarily to increase Joe's wealth, but to create a large safety net to his family members.

Interesting, do you have some sort of source for that ?

I mean he can fill his pockets legitimately really easy, book deals , speaking engagements etc so I'm pretty sceptical there's anything illegal going on.

And that’s when he turned to a life of crime.

I stated my source at the beginning of the post you just replied to.

And no, I'm not going to go their the BP catalog and find the interview. Either believe me or don't.

The book deals and speaking arrangements could make his some money, but I am not sure if he could pull in the same kind of speaking money compared to some of his contemporaries.

As for a book deal, he didn't make much for "Promises to Keep"
Browsing through President Obama’s and Vice President Biden’s financial disclosure forms, we noticed that Biden checked the “less than $201” box on his income from Random House for his 2007 memoir, ”Promises to Keep.” (It’s actually a very fine book.)

I will say, one hole in the corruption storyline is.....Jill.

It's not uncommon for spouses of members of Congress/Senate to be appointed to boards of organizations in the hopes of...well...for what Hunter is being accused of.

But, Jill really did spend her time teaching at a couple of high schools and community colleges while Joe was in the Senate and in the White House.

If Joe is as corrupt as we are being told, then, I would have assumed we would have heard stories about Jill being appointed to the board of MBNA.

Also shows that even though the 17th amendment was passed nearly 60 years before Joe was elected, not much had changed
I'm afraid that if he passed, Harris would be so much worst and absolutly run the country into the ground. I am a conservative and if she became the pres because Joe passed that would be a slam dunk for anyone in the GOP in 2024 but I rather the country do better > who I want in office.

Biden clearly has lost some mental acuity. But, as long as his physical health is maintained, he isn't going to die while in office. Honestly, I think the most dangerous part of his job is the constant flying he does. But, it is clear that the White House medical team isn't fearful of him getting blood clots while traveling.

For Harris to become POTUS, she will have to be elected.

Good points and I'm not one of those stupid people that say "no old people in the white house" ... The amount of wisdom he has is good for the country, yea he's slower but he's not brain dead. He just seems fragile, maybe that's my perception.
