Hey, one of the members of the DM's group on D&DB started content sharing again for the group. I didn't spread your invitation to that group because it's just my family that play together with the DM. I'm surprised more Sherdog warriors haven't joined your invite to peruse while working LOL.

I think before you mentioned your cousin was playing or something?

Dude, that's awesome. Is that one you bought unpainted or custom unpainted from Hero Forge? Who's playing that one? Like the Baldur's Gate reference.

This campaign is pretty open ended, but I can see it stopping if we lose an OG character or two.

Our Monk's player pretty much said he doesn't think he wants to keep on in this world if Trog dies.

I painted it. Its a 3d print that I printed from Loot Studios (such a cool subscription service).

The others are Hero Forge minis, we bought the files and printed them ourselves.

Both. Pretty happy with it to be honest. My son is fucking thrilled with it.

The paint scheme came out solid. The dry brush of the gold on the armor.and blood splatter effects are his favorite.

So you have your own printer where you can just download Hero Forge schematics and print them in color yourself?

No, printed in gray resin then painted it by hand.

2nd Session

We made way to more civilized parts, entering a smaller village along the river. Relived to be free of dangerous temperatures and to have a warm meal and beds, we settled in. Be they in a common room or not.

Learning from locals that they too had issues with Goblins and a missing child, we immediately offered to help.

We tracked the foul scum to their abode (caves) and quietly plotted. We realized no-one but me could enter without light, so I quietly skulked in and scoped the entry out. After a bit I returned and advised of the immediate areas within. We all entered (me a good a bit ahead hidden) and began the exploration.

Off a bit from the party I was unfortunately spotted by a guard while changing my position. He was dead before he could usher a word. Did I say I was handy with the steel and can skin Ethyl faster than an eyeblink? Well he didn't need to scream as my pistol shot echoed through the caverns...

What followed was a bit of comedy and fun. We pursued the goblins, who shouted at us in common to leave their home as they scattered and fled. We could barely see them and the caves were littered with little pockets and niches.

The 2nd guard we encountered I advised to surrender the younglings (children) if they wished mercy. I then shot him dead...

Deeper into the caves and we finally begin to encounter more than one goblin (that we could get to). Unseen others angrily warned us against perusing them as they fled to the darkness of the tunnels...

My reply was a simple. "Stop, No, Don't Run... And I shot the guy in the lead (farthest away) dead... I'm very front loaded for damage at 2nd level, so they were getting splattered...

Coraak moved in and began to get swarmed by goblins and dogs. The Meat Shield held Strong! He easily squashed goblin's, hacking wildly about as Aagrook slid in and planted some backside love. Lunari was Spider Climbing and Dimension Sliding around while peppering them with Eldritch blasts.

Pushing on and through a few more goblin packs, we eventually forced them into the pens where the children were being beaten (to death).

One more call to release the children. To which they responded for us to lay our arms down or they would all die.

Ethyl rang out a cold reply, dropping another goblin. "Anyone else, care to negotiate" I retorted.

We finished them off, saving 5 of the 6 children and began to scope around for goodies while tending to their wounds. We would have lost another child but Lunarie was able to heal them in time, fortunately!

Session end.

We're planning to go to level 20 so the DM threw in a few Candlekeep adventures first and we're starting the actual story at level 3. Here's my Gloomstalker;

But all of them were based on similar images I found on Google search if you want to reference the originals
