The difference between Trump and Rubio/Kasich's appeal in a nutshell

What actual change is Trump promising? Other than deporting Muslims (which he cannot do) and building a wall to Mexico (Which will not happen or help) what actual change has Trump proposed?

You forgot taxing imports on China as well.

But really what has any of the others proposed that they would actually do? People are sick and tired of empty promises. They're sick of politicians that say shit then don't do shit. People are sick and fed up with the system they don't want career politicians running it anymore.

Word.

Personally I'm tired of getting fucked over by mechanics so I'm going to an accountant to fix my car

And yeah that makes sense if dude has a passion for cars and has a personal garage at his place and likes to make a little cash on the side. And if he doesn't mind you helping out and you watching him, you could learn a thing or two and not have anyone do it for you anymore and be self sufficient instead of a helpless bitch. Thats what I've done in my life.

I'm a registered Republican. I just this week changed from unaffiliated since open primary laws don't extend to the Presidential election. I am supporting Rubio and Kasich.

I have ranted against Clinton this entire cycle. Even more damningly, Obama won all of the black vote (highly educated included)-- do you understand that? Of course not. See my sig. You're barely literate. SMH.

This isn't subjective. It's objectively outlined in the CBS article you didn't read. These voters are themselves declaring themselves as "angry" and citing their most prominent issues to be a temporary (and completely un-American) ban on all Muslims entering the country. Their lack of education also isn't a matter of opinion.

Hillary is running mostly on continuing the Obama platform. Sanders is running on

I am not a Rubio fan, but using Rubio repeating talking points as a way to defend Trump is beyond dumb.

Everything Trump says is the most amazing, greatest, yuugest thing in the world. The man is a walking talking talking point.

Where did he say he would "deport Muslims?" I'll wait for you to prove that fat lie.

Also, it seems you can see into the future, and you know the wall won't be built. If so, what are this week's Powerball numbers?

Meh.

Pubio should stick to foam parties and wearing high heels.

Rubio and Cruz and the rest all pander to stupid people, and would laugh at poor people as they die on the streets.
I have objectively demonstrated that this is true of Trump, and the opposite is true of Rubio and Kasich.
If Trump panders better, power to him. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

So funny the war party that goes to instill democracy around the world is scheming to undermine Trump's POPULIST popularity. Like because his support comes from "stupid people" the system churns out, democracy shouldn't matter any more.

Oh, BTW, Trump was against the Iraq invasion wasn't he?

And lastly, lot of well educated people, perhaps the vast majority, are quite ignorant on economics, international relations and how the world really works and actually think Iraq was invaded because of WMDs.
Actually he wasn't. He supported the invasion in a Howard Stern interview. He flip-flopped on that like he does everything else. Hell, he's the only candidate who has Clinton dead to rights on flip-flopping. I mean, Clinton has actually belonged to the same party her whole life:

That's okay. #Trumpsupporter. You aren't expected to, like, get things right-- to know things. It's exhausting.

I disagree. What we are witnessing is a modern day revolution. This is about people who have felt powerless and ignored for so long trying to take power back. It's mostly the middle class who are not poor enough for the democrats to pander to, and nowhere near rich enough for republicans to pander to. This is more about voting against the establishment, than voting for trump.

Boom!

Don't know what so hard to for these war room posters to understand. Even the news outlets yesterday were reporting stats that in some states Trump was not just winning with the 'uneducated' but the college educated as well and that the message is clear. PEOPLE ARE FED UP WITH THE ESTABLISHMENT.

Or maybe people are sick and tired of career politicians and want real true change. The fact that Trump is despised by politicians and the media are only helping his cause.

Regular people can't relate to politicians anymore. The fact that our current president has never had a job goes to show how out of touch politicians are with the middle class.

Please tell us how Trump relates to you and the middle class. Tell us how he is "in touch".

Sorry, my mistake.
You are right, he did not want to deport all Muslims. I got that one confused with his deport 11 million people.

He only wants Muslims to carry special IDs and be in a special database. My bad.

That's it really. We finally have a chance to vote for a non-handpicked establishment candidate who could win. We are fully aware of all his warts but dont care. Wed rather watch someone we voted in destroy this country than continue to watch these shills march us to a slow death.

Kasich supports anti-middle class policies like repealing the estate tax and cutting income taxes, and cutting collective bargaining rights. Doesn't Trump too?

Well for one he's had a career outside of politics unlike the guy in office right now.

Thats essentially one more thing to relate to than all the others.

"PEOPLE ARE FED UP WITH THE ESTABLISHMENT."

This is where the lack of education kicks in. These plebs actually believe that electing Trump is going to suddenly get rid of career politicians. That Trump is going to fire everyone in Washington like he does on The Apprentice. Nothing is going to change dramatically. At best, Trump will keep taxes relatively the same and not make any major mistakes when it comes to foreign policy. He might try to repeal the ACA but his healthcare policy is fucking zilch, so that prospect is actually very scary for people depending on Medicaid.

Must be the reason why he got like 50% of the vote in Massachusetts, people are so uneducated there.

I remember seeing that he had won the highly educated category in several states so I'm kind of thinking the "only dummies vote for him" thing is more of a smear by the liberal elite but who knows.

I think that anyone that votes for Hillary are certifiably retarded so there is that.

I do not support Trump btw because like Hillary I have no idea what he stands for.

The rest though are bought and paid for slime so it's a tough one.

Not really, since his career and where he started from is vastly different from being in the middle class. His life is no more different from the average person than the life of a politician, and he certainly hasn't lacked power. If anything he's not unlikely to make the wealth gap between the likes of him and the middle class even larger.

Surely one should look for something more relevant in order to find someone to support?

Screw the GOP elites, Trump is one of the best things to happen to the Republican party since the Rockefeller Republicans and Nixons presidency (minus watergate).

The GOP doesn't like him because he doesn't follow the party line and thinks for himself. He is also self funded and not beholden to their donor class. Notice how as soon as Trump called out the GOP for their large donor class he got booed and then ever since he I getting attacked nonstop.

Rubio is trying too hard and Cruz is even more extreme than Trump but he plays the game so the Republicans aren't attacking him yet.

Sticking with the main reason I presented on my first post for the support for Trump.

People are sick of the establishment. Not just the uneducated like myself. The fact the media and politicians hate him only make the people love him more.

The regular media even sees that and reports that. Ya'll can keep trying to pick at me for WHY I support him, but I don't represent all the voters in all the states he won. But at least I am smart enough to know why he's doing so well. We're experiencing a non violent revolution.

Seems like he blabbed a little "in" stuff on an joke radio show before caring / giving serious thought then changed his mind once he devoted some calories to it.

It's a grasp at straws, but at worst for Trump, he's not worse than the neo-con clowns or the rest of this sad lot of politicians on both sides.

And all politicians pander. "The novelist must always tell the truth as he understands it while the politician must never give the game away. Those who have done both comprise a very short list indeed."

Can't wait for the next jackass moral entrepreneur who thinks their shit don't smell to tell us how awful Trump is.

He only wants Muslims to carry special IDs and be in a special database.

We both know that won't actually happen; what will likely happen is that we'll watch Muslims even more closely, and for good reason.

Hell, France shut down certain mosques after the Paris attacks. Can you imagine the outrage if a President Trump had shut down mosques? I can't believe I'm typing this, but the US is softer than France now.
