One of the reasons I say that as my posting history is right leaning. I am generally far more critical of leftist issues than right even now and most of my post history has seen me fighting with the left leaning posters here. But I don't like Trump as my conservatism comes from Small c Conservatism and Trump is a complete disaster in that regard. Running up massive deficits and debt during strong markets. Everything Small c Conservatives and prior Republicans said they were against. And I also think Trump is racist and also that he is trying to destroy or weaken all the Check and Balances in gov't and that is a very dangerous thing not just for him but all that follow.

Pea brains like you think 'you either like Trump or you are socialist' and that is not remotely true. I am still glad he won over Hilary, not because I think he governs better but if Hilary got in you would get nothing but Hilary type status quo politicians for ever. Trump is going to force massive change one way or the other. he is going to push to break the current system not in any positive ways, and if the system is able to fight back they will have to put in all sorts of real safe guards and limits and other things that will benefit citizens for a long time.

it Trumps wins this battle then it will be interesting to see how this turn towards fascism plays out over the next few decades. The more power Trump gets the more he uses it grab more, the more he seeks to destroy safe guards and those who would oppose. And so on and so on. It will be interesting to see how far it goes before America does break. Before you get a true fascist from the Right.
