That's not the issue at hand. You're being dishonest if you think the argument is "the flooding on the mississippi is because of climate change". It's unprecedented levels of flooding. Just like it's not climate change causing hurricanes, but rather the increased severity of them.

When I was an early teen, I’m 39, the Mississippi raised to insane levels. Floods have always happened once they damned the river. You get huge thunder storms that just dump water a lot in the summers
