good point on the head movement. he just moves his head back in a straight line or just leaves it hanging. dangerous, Omari landed some good shots as well. a couple more and it could've been lights out.
 
Needs to retire.

He ain’t getting anywhere near the title again. He’s in it for money and brain damage now.

Imo weidman has a solid chance of surviving up to 3 or maybe 4... Minutes
 
He could maybe fight Tavares next, then maybe a Silva 'retirement' match. Then done. Or just retire on this win.
 
He's most certainly past his prime but I do think its a mental thing too. Dude koed Silva and broke his fucking shin in the rematch, he was on top of the world, beat Vitor, Machida. He was unstoppable. Then lose to Rockhold and gets fucked by Romero. He looked great in the Jacare fight but got caught by a savage who won't stop. Since then his confidence totally declined and it shows. Chain wrestling? Lunging for the single leg? Dude won't trade like he used to, smart move but shows he knows either his chin is gone or he can't afford another loss. Confidence shattered.
 
Has he not had a string of knee and back surgeries?

More Shogun syndrome than USADA if I had to guess

How so .. Silva has mostly been competitive at his super advance age.

Weidman has no power, no speed, no gas tank, no chin while being younger and not having as many fights as Silva had at that same age.

So explain yourself if you think you can
 
He's fallen on hard times he always had a questionable gas tank I just think there are better fighters these days Vs the guys he beat back in the day

Machida was better than this opponent.

Pre USADA Weidman would kill current Weidman.

That never worked out for Weidman. He gasses far too easy.

I think the UFC still look at him as a name so might try and nurture him to get potential future title shot, giving him easier opponents

Anderson has won once since losing to Chris back to back and that was a robbery. What does Anderson have? He quits from inside leg kicks and his chin is deteriorating to the point where he is getting rocked and dropped by pillow fist eye one eyed Bisping. Chris has Anderson’s number

Anderson arguably won against Bisping. Anderson originally won against Diaz.

Weidman would have been KO'd by DC, Ko'd by Aesayna.
