He kinda has to think that way if he wants to remain in politics unless he moves to a different state. He’s kinda in Castro’s situation where the party likes him enough to try to boost his resume but are limited electorally because of where he lives. Not sure how well he’d do running in a general election for president but seemed like he was doing pretty well and had a decent shot if Biden wasn’t in the picture. It’s 2021 though. Everything can change in months let alone years.

I think they are just trying to give liberals hope after Biden just came out saying he plans on running in 2024, and how obvious Kamala just doesn't care.

It is indicative that they don't have any poll in there about Mayor Buttplugs favorability.

This poll from a month ago shows only 37% approval, and that is prior to going into the holiday season, where it will likely drop further if prices continue to go up.

Pretty much. The guy has a great pedigree: army, Ivy League education, eloquent speaker and proficient at politician speech AKA talking without saying anything. But he will never reach the highest office positions because his sexuality is known and many people will never vote for him because of it.

It isn't even that he is gay that he will fail, it is that he seems fake as hell, like someone who only is there for the photoshoot, to use woke phrases, but is himself an idiot... which is evident by our supply chain issues right now, among other stuff.

He looks like a stary eyed kid as he talks about shit like racist roads, and taking picture of himself in a hospital bed with his partner, despite not actually giving birth and needing to be in an adult hospital bed. It is images like this, rather than being actually gay, that will not get him elected.
