6 episodes in and they better show the full Butcher background story they way they did it in the comic.

Finished the first season this morning. I never read the comics and didn't really know what to expect. All in all it was a pretty good show. I'll tune in when season 2 comes out.

For the comic fans. Anyone else like that switch at the end?

Episode 5,

- I knew Pop Claw was dead as soon as A Train started talking about how he fell in love with her on their first date.

- Billy using the Baby Supe as a weapon made me laugh out loud. "Fuckin' diabolical!" indeed

- Great to see Black Noir in action. My only complaint about his fight with The Female was the scene was too dark. Made it difficult to see the details.

- The scene between Stillwell and Homelander was creepy AF <{clintugh}>

The whole cast is strong and Urban is excellent as always. But Starr is the standout for me so far. His portrayal of Homelander is superb.

It's decent.

Wouldn't beat my wife for turning it off, but she wouldn't be getting dinner that night.

This shit is so good. How the hell are they getting me to feel sorry for a guys who's first screen time is him raping someone.

Really liked the show ......... but could really live without all the political messages.

All in all a solid show. Not really a great ending of season but good ser up for season 2

I...I don’t really remember ANY politcal messages. Example?

Finished the first season and it's really good. Never a dull moment. Didn't have gratuitous dull, padded scenes compared to the Netflix shows. Wasn't as depraved as I was expecting it to be but that's a good thing (except for the sparse nudity).

Really enjoying this so far, as usual Karl Urban makes everything better. With the exception of Doom...

If they made it as bad as the comics, the SJW’s would shut it down faster than you could say #metoo.

I had the same reaction. 8 episodes was a really good length for what they wanted to show.

The whole relationship between Stillwell and the Homelander was so creepy to me. I was certain she would turn out to be his mother. Still not convinced that she wasnt...

The Deep? He didn't rape Starlight. He blackmailed her into giving him a blow-job by threatening to get her kicked off the team.

He's a piece of shit, of course, but not a rapist. And I felt sorry for him as well during the scene where he tried to rescue the Dolphin. But not as sorry as I felt for the Dolphin:(
