My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's

It's another isekai story but I enjoyed it. I think it's one of the low key gems from last anime season. The artwork reminded of me a lot of the 90s style of anime. The animation is really good. I was concerned initially that this was going to be a boys love but thankfully it pivoted out of that direction. The action sequence is carefully thought out which I appreciated. Sometimes there was too much talking and moping near the end though.

Guuuhhh!!! I didn't finish watching the last one or last two episodes. I can't bear going through him moping and being worried about being a killer. It's annoyingly so bad IMO. The anime was so promising but I might be done with it because of it. My buddy is telling me to still finish it but i dunno.

Goddamn. The latest Jujutsu Kaisen (ep. 4) was awesome. It's been a while since I really loved a JJK episode. Didn't like the badly-paced, destruction-porn heavy of the Shibuya Incident of season 2. Didn't like the dragging, convoluted power point presentation of last episode (ep. 3) on the rules of the Culling Game. But this latest Kill Bill episode was fire!

Can't wait to start JJK but I'm going to let it finish first. Also can't wait for Hells Paradise to come back. Haven't really enjoyed much of the anime released last season other than My Hero but seems like all my favorite shows are coming back this year.

Watched a few episodes of Terraformars on HULU. Not sure how much more I want to watch with these giant muscled humanoid cockroaches. I think there's a live action movie and not sure if related.

Watched Macross Flashback 2012(?) on Disney+. Am wondering if I missed a Macross movie featuring Misa as captain since they showed a brief clip of that and Hikaru flying some fighter jet I never seen before and the animation that looked new and spliced into this music video show looked shittier than original DYRL animation. They also failed to mention in the content warning about Minmei's fantasic naked boobs and far away full frontal.

I continued watching past the first episode because they showed the dude staring at the hot American blonde's cleavage. Apparently she's also some mutant with super strength/fighting ability.

In Frieren season 2 ep. 2, they introduced a new character from the past - The Hero of the South. He just appears briefly for a few minutes and will probably be never seen again but the impact he left the viewers is astonishing. He has instantly become a huge fan-favorite. That's how brilliant the writing of this show is.

The Hero of the South is considered to be the strongest human hero. He has the rare ability of future sight. He tried recruiting Frieren to fight the Demon King. Of course, he already knew Frieren would decline.

He shared to Frieren that in one year he will die battling the Schlacht the Omniscient and the Seven Sages of Destruction. It's basically 8 versus 1. He will die without achieving his goal (but he will kill Schlacht and three Sages in the process).

He also revealed to Frieren that she will join the Hero party in the future and Himmel will be the one to save the world and kill the Demon King. He asks Frieren to relay a message to Himmel when she sees him.

"I will clear a path for you."

He's a willing sacrifice so that the party would have a less difficult path even without the glory of the people knowing his efforts.
