Oh well...I've been hearing stories about how mappa studios overworks their artists so maybe releasing a movie will somehow lessen their workload.

Didn't have high hopes for the kingdom anime. The cgi was off putting at first. But now I'm in an all out binge.

That collective gasp of amazement from soldiers or menials when they see Shin pull something crazy or talk his shit always cracks me up. "Oooooo-kkkk!"

One of the best s1 in recent history.

Good. This foray into historical anime has been good so far. Kingdom has some genuinely moving moments. I have high hopes for Vinland.

nah, but the 2007 series is great so you should def watch it if you dig the movie

I watched some of Sakamoto Days. It’s not bad but it isn’t peak. It’s just something fun to watch for now.

The CGI is the reason I stopped watching this show.

Yeah the whole build up just for that. Sucks even worse because Rosario was in his worst condition and still won.

Can’t say I was surprised though.

Next is Sendo vs Ricardo probably.

I agree. IMO it's in the tier of Windbreaker, Tokyo Revengers, Spy Family and all the other good, but not great cliche animes that doesn't have ridiculous superpowers.

I dont even think it's on that tier, maybe it gets better? The characters are bland and if you want to watch some assassins' stuff, The Fable has a similar story and at the same point of progression, I thought it was way better.
