The Anime and Manga Thread v48

Well i didn't know this thread existed, nice.

JJK season 2 is so much better than 1. I tried to rewatch 1 and I just couldn’t do it. It has its moments but overall season 1 is just boring not even sure how I made it through the first time.

Yea it sucks i made it like 2 episodes

Writing apperantly is a lot weaker than original series
Going till end it only get worse and worse

Writer is on a personal mission and that mission have nothing to do with Castlevania lol

Really wish AOT had changed the ending from the manga. Oh well.

@JBSchroeds , Latest Northern Blade , absolutely satisfying.
The chaff strikes a pose and...dead.
Those dumb bastards, thinking having a title means shit. What's the over under for number of panels until they're dead? 10? Eye patch will probably survive until the end of the chapter, or possible get finished off in the last panel.
8 panels. lol

This season is when the story finally starts. Season 1 was somewhat generic but you need it to build the story. I am glad there weren't many Naruto talk to the villain moments. Season 2 is really good in terms of the fights.

Going into the Fall 2023 anime season, I thought Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 was going to be my favorite. I was wrong. FRIEREN: BEYOND JOURNEY'S END is just magnificent. It's slow paced and deliberate but it's such a beautiful show with lots of poignant moments. The animation is fantastic and consistent. The show goes up to another level when they reach the demon arc. I can't wait to watch the remaining 3 episodes.

I'm seeing all these samurai type anime popping up on Netflix such as Blue Eyed Samurai. Is it worth watching? I saw a few others as well.

Just patiently waiting for the season to finish so I can start this one up. I've only heard good things.

That's good to hear because I enjoyed season 1 lol

Had no clue the final movie is out. Thanks! Got something to watch this weekend!

And I just finished Live Action One Piece. I enjoyed it.

Caught up on Tower of God again. The conversation(s) between Traumerei and Gustang have been the high points of this entire arc.

Also, is it on break again?
Oda is pacing himself, or milking it
I think his wife wanted him to start taking breaks which is when he went to the three chapters then break schedule.

Sucks that Himmel doesn't have an apprentice or a current active connection to Frieren unlike Eisen and Heiter, but this journey was all for Himmel, imo.

Is it? I read on webtoon and don't spend tokens so I'm five chapters behind. I'm really not liking how many moving parts there are in this arc. I know what's how most ToG arcs end up, but for some reason this one feels like each bite is less filling, less impactful. Maybe it will read better all at once.
