The Anime and Manga Thread v48

Is it? I read on webtoon and don't spend tokens so I'm five chapters behind. I'm really not liking how many moving parts there are in this arc. I know what's how most ToG arcs end up, but for some reason this one feels like each bite is less filling, less impactful. Maybe it will read better all at once.
I think I got confused by the comments on the site all being from October 1st, but those are probably from token users. Forgot that was a thing.

There's definitely a lot of moving parts. I usually catch up a couple times a year and it reads decent that way.

Like @Dragonlordxxxxx said, this is the best of the current crop of animes. And I'm a huge JJK fan. I should've waited like you but I went in blind and now stuck waiting in weekly limbo.
I'm old school and I prefer to digest my TV shows on a weekly basis. There are so many advantages for me if it's week to week like properly digesting each episode and giving me something to look forward each week.

It only works for me if it's a solid season with sleeper hits where I could have a different series every day of the week. This season is meh. I don't watch OP and AoT, so that leaves me with Frieren and JJK for this season. Overtake is good too and one guilty pleasure:

Aside from the anime series, I also watch a lot of English-language shows. So my limited TV time is pretty full every day. My guilty pleasure animes are the lighthearted isekai and fantasy shows. I've been meaning to check out Overtake and Yuzuki Family's 4 Sons in the near future.

Yuri on Ice is also amazing.
Great opening song. Fantastic animation. I just find the skating routine too repetitive, like the characters would perform the same identical routine over and over. I don't know much about figure skating in real life, so maybe they're just following what is the norm in the actual sport.

The Kingdoms of Ruin has subpar animation but the story/plot is great and it's ultra violent.

Teaser Trailer for Netflix's Live-Action Adaptation of YU YU HAKUSHO

@Flower2dPeople Another masterful episode (episode 10) for Frieren. I think the last two (or three) episodes might go back to chill mode but I hope they at least tease a major arc for the next season.

Haven't watched an anime properly is ages. Anything good actually worth watching? I mean Death Note level worth watching.

May as well watch Attack on Titan now that both the anime and manga have ended.

Blue Eye Samurai was pretty amazing. Hopefully Netflix greenlights it for season 2

If anyone has been a crunchyroll subscriber for a while, they are settling a class action lawsuit, and sending out settlement emails. Check your spam folder, that's were mine ended up. Only $30 but money is money.

Any thoughts on Blue eyed Samarai? Was thinking of watching over holiday as I heard if you can get past the "messaging" it was the best anime since Arcane or Invincible. Surprised I see nothing about it on here.

I waited for over a year after Northern Blade's hiatus. I caught up in just 2 days. See you in 2 years.
