Because now I can finally be a fan of the one of the most exciting and diverse fighters in the sport.
Same thing happened when Chael lost to Andy again; Hated the guy like hell, but he was a good fighter who wouldn't back down from any chance at greatness. After he lost that second fight I loved the guy. I may hate the way McGregor acted, but he did it to make his money and he was always respectful in the cage when the fight was through.
He's an exciting guy that always comes to fight, brings attention to the sport in each of his matches and then goes out there and does it. Now that he's had his humbling can't wait to see where he goes.
