LOL musk should know better. That place will be tagged up, torn down and cabling stripped in 3 months tops. I feel bad for the people who have to live next to it (which also probably had no say in it being built)

I think the best practice is a combination of these roadside diner, regular charging stations and battery swaps.

not sure if it's gonna hold up, Nio has been losing market share from what I recall, conventional charging is winning out.

swap out *SOUNDS* good until you're faced with the burden of swapping it out, these EV's are like phones, you really dont want to get close to empty, and if you have access to chargers at home, you're likely topping it off semi regularly.

It's not your battery. You are swapping out for a different battery. You need a combination of both.

Surprised I haven’t seen @TeTe badmouthing Tesla or electric cars in this thread…<lol>

Lol... I'll never go but I'm not going to hate on it. We have the Corvette Diner here in San Diego.

And for the record.... Even though I don't like EVs, my main gripe is with the government trying to tell people they have to buy them eventually. Otherwise, drive whatever you like.

*shrugs

I have a Tesla
would top to get a dog or burger I already use it to raid the snack and drink stand at the Tesla store for my kids.

feels effeminate driving it like roller skating

No justice no piece... of pie a la mode with that coffee?

Now we just need the roadside hookers for the cybertruckers.

These restaurants will be a bizarre gathering of left wing environmentalists, right wingers, Elon fan boys and regular people who bought Tesla to save on gas money. Basically the Sherdog war room in a restaurant form

I would gladly sit down with my Tesla burger and listen to an irl conversation between @Jack V Savage and @Ripskater
