Targetting dealerships is one thing. That's targetting Tesla, the company of Elon Musk. It's direction action against his financial assets.
Targetting cars people have bought is unjustifiable. If they're burning a person's car, they have no idea if:
1. That person politically supports Elon/Trump. They could be a Democrat voter, a Bernie supporter etc.
2. If that person needs that car to sustain their livelihood, such as to get to work.
3. If that person needs that car to run important errands, like picking their disabled kid up from school to go to a doctor's appointment.
4. The person's medication to save their life could be in there. You burnt it.
5. How hard they worked for it in life.
Etc. These are hypotheticals. Point being, people should hold themselves accountable for possible negative outcomes of their actions. Take some responsibility.
