Terminator II's biggest plot hole:

It's a time travel plot that involves traveling back in time to rewrite history. It's inherently never gonna make sense.

You want a task though, try listing all the plotholes in Genysis. That movie was like a spoof of Terminator movies it was so cartoonishly bad. Trying to make sense of that shit is headache inducing.

Ok, this is my favourite movie of all time. But I sometimes find it fun to call out certain things.

Remember the scene where The Terminator was using John Connor's voice at the payphone, talking to the T-1000?

He figured out that his foster parents were dead when the T-1000 didn't know the name of the pet dog.

He then abruptly hangs up the phone and informs John Conner his foster parents are dead.

--what he should have done.

By hanging up the phone the T-1000 immediately knows he's on to him.

He should have told the T-1000 to wait there and I'll be home sometime between now and tomorrow morning or something. Then the T-1000 would have stayed behind and the terminator would have had more time to leave the city with his Mom.

Nope. The biggest plothole is how in the first place did John get conceived by Kyle Reese when KR is from the future? It's a 'chicken and egg' sort of time loop.

Ok, the first time - they sent Arnold to 1984

Later they sent T-1000 to 1991 .. or was it 96? Either way, they should have sent T-1000 to 1984 then

Later they send the TX back to 2005???? NO!!!! You got a third time machine opportunity, have her join up with them too

Send them ALL back to 1984!! Spam 1984 with robots!!!

It will cause a paradox like what Doc Brown warned marty.

UFC 151 getting cancelled almost caused one too!

The only one I would completely write off would be the Incredible Hulk stand alone.

I've watched all the others multiple times but only saw that one once and can't bring myself to do it again.
I watched it recently because I hadn't seen it since 2008 and I was curious how it held up. It's not a bad movie, but doesn't really have anything special going for it. The weirdest thing was how out of place it is with the rest of the franchise. There is very little humor, most of the characters haven't been brought back aside from William Hurt as General Ross (good move) and obviously the biggest difference is that Banner is played by Ed Norton. The Hulk CGI doesn't look that good imo, it was much improved in Avengers 1, and the teaser at the end where Tony Stark shows up and tells Ross that he's putting together a team makes no sense in hindsight.

I did like Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, I'd rather they had brought her back even briefly instead of the weird Banner/Natasha romance.

I like to think of Ruffalo's Banner as having gone through the trials of that first movie, living as a fugitive in South American slums, crossing borders covertly, being hunted across the globe, all while desperately searching for a cure.

LOL!!! Good point, his accent doesn't carry over when he does kid imitation mode. That means the robot is intentionally talking in a slow thick accent 99% of the time

Skynet knows that speaking German makes the T800 a better infiltrator because:

To add more detail to the alternate universe Terminator movie where Sarah Conner is unlisted.

The T-800 is frustrated that Sarah Connor is not listed in the phone book so he resorts to old school detective work. Unfortunately for the Arnold-ator, Sarah Connor moved to NoCal and does a lot of weed, thus dropping off the grid. The T-800 decides to lay low and wait 24 yrs for social media to become established so that he can cyber-stalk Sarah Connor's FB, twitter and instagram accounts. His plan is to troll her by posting crazy comments in her tweets and YouTube vids, thus "flushing her out of her weed malaise". By this point John Connor is in his mid-20s and has a serious meth problem. The T-800 revaluates his mission and decides that he's done and takes up bow hunting with Joe Rogan. Film ends with T-800 doing a JRE podcast that drones on forever.

not bad, how about the terminator becomes the mayor of california and funds skynet with taxpayers money?

That's why I hate time travel plots.

Same. This is why even though I know I'll more than likely really like the sequel to Infinity War, I'm gonna avoid all discussions about it on the internet if it involves time travel.

"Why didn't _____ just __________ in the first place?!"s guaranteed to flow as fast as the money.

I'm a big ST fan and it uses time travel way too often.
The stories are hobbled out of the gate by internal inconsistencies. You have to write a really good, clever story to overcome time travel stupidity. It should be a minor story element. The more you try focusing on the time travel itself and how it works, the shittier the outcome.

*me watching something like twenty episodes over the series*

At least time travel eps allow them to use studio lot sets and play period-piece dress-up.

Cleverly done was the finale. Doesn't get much better.

Oh no, that wasn't the end, no no no

The end is when Pickhard had to fight his evil younger clone, remember? The very sad ending where

Data dies and everyone just kind of gets sadly sent off if not really sent off at all? THAT ending?

Hey, when Jon Conor was approaching fake Mom (T-1000 in disguise) ...

He was like "Come closer my son it is me your mom"

Wasn't Jon Conor close enough for the T-1000 to just stick his arm out and extend a longer assed sword to kill him??

I think they both recognized who was on the other end of the line.

No, the T-1000 NEVER knew

In fact there's a cut scene where he has to go to the dog cage, kill the dog and see the name tag to be sure.

Er .. I suppose he would have done this anyway

Aw fuck me everything is falling apart

What happened to all the staff at Jurassic Park? They're the forgotten children of cinema history.
