In essence, Alien, Terminator and Predator are sci-fi slasher films. They have an incredibly simple premise and they don't overexplain things.

They were never designed to be giant tentpole franchises. You see what happens when you retroactively go back and try to explain things (Prometheus)...shit don't make any sense.

It really blows my mind that Arnold continues to show up for this junk but refuses to be in a Predator sequel

Speaking of putting the wrong person in the wrong role, might be one of the worst movie casting decision ever made.

They look like shit because of filters that change the color. Most movies abuse the blue/orange filter. Post apocalyptic movies use a greyish green filter. It sucks the life out of movies.
 
This shitty die hard movie was bad enough on its own. When they slapped a blue filter on it ... Omg, just horrendous.

Look how much better this scene looks when some nerd tried to correct the horrid color grading.

 
Terminator Salvation had all the color drained from it. Terrible color grading or whatever it is called. It is supposed to convey bleakness, but to me it is just ugly and horrid to look at. So dull and boring and wooden.

This color correction is awful, but it still brings more life to the movie. And my life is bleak and desolate, but also full of real colors. Lmao



The desert is supposed to have blue sky!

I'm re-watching the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Its crazy that this show is more interesting than the movies.

Its not a perfect show as the CGI is AWFUL, to say the least but it adds lore that I find interesting

Michael Biehn singlehandedly sold the entire dystopian future and its consequences. Had it been a Jai Courtney Kyle Reese in 1984, we'd have no Terminator franchise to ruin.

One of the most I underrated performances ever. He is a freaked out, time travelling war vet. He sells it and I buy it.
 
You know the worst part of this trailer? No classic Terminator theme. At all.

I’ve never watched the whole series. I liked it but missed a bunch of episodes.

I need to watch it from start to finish sometime.
